Go to any city in America, particularly on the west coast, and you will see hordes of homeless people.
Homelessness has been on the rise as of late due to radical left-wing policies, and many cities have been completely overrun.
But residents in this one west coast city are using clever tactics to keep homeless people off their property.
Over the past decade, homelessness has been on the rise in many cities across the nation.
This is especially true in many west coast cities where homelessness is practically encouraged.
In cities such as Los Angeles and Denver, homeless people have the right to sleep and use drugs wherever they please pretty much.Â
As a direct result, crime is up in most urban centers.
These bums are more brash than ever before and local authorities are unable to do anything about it.
Residents of these cities are slowly becoming fed up with this homelessness epidemic and many are taking matters into their own hands.
In fact, in the city of Portland, Oregon residents are finding clever ways to deter homeless people.
Portland Oregon is easily one of the most extreme left-wing cities in the country, and unsurprisingly they are overwhelmed with drug-addicted bums.
Instead of trying to curb this surge, the city government is more interested in creating spaces for legal drug use among other wacky laws.
And heaven forbid anybody tries to keep homeless people away from their property or else they face the scorn of the city council.
But drug-addicted vagrants wandering around committing crimes?Â
No problem.
For this reason, citizens are installing bike racks in front of their homes and businesses.
This prevents these bums from camping out, deterring foot traffic.
This move is especially clever because the city promotes bike usage, and would not dare tell people they cannot install bike racks.Â
The truth is, it should not be the citizens of Portland’s job to make sure their homes and businesses are not overrun.Â
The city needs to do something about this problem and giving them free crack pipes is not the solution.Â
What the citizens of Portland really need to do is send a powerful message this November and remove the people destroying their city from office.
It seems like every single day there is some new ridiculous law being passed in Portland designed to make the city a much worse place to live.Â
If Portlanders do not do something fast, then their once beautiful city will become a burnt out pile of rubble like Gary, Indiana.Â
But that seems unlikely given the electoral success of radical leftists in recent elections.Â
