When the clothes start to fly off you know you are getting more than what you paid for.
And that’s especially true when it comes to a baseball game.
MLB fans are rolling their eyes after one of the worst wardrobe malfunctions in baseball history.
See-through uniforms?
You will be hard-pressed to find a more family-friendly event in sports than a baseball game.
Baseball games are known for their laid-back, relaxed, and family-centered environment.
Things are so relaxed at a baseball game that it isn’t that uncommon to see someone doing office work or reading a newspaper in the stands.
Oftentimes the biggest thing at a game that might catch your attention is a fly ball heading for your area of the stands.
But that relaxed family environment is being put to the test this season in the MLB.
The MLB decided to ruin decades of tradition and decided to change uniforms this season.
They were marketed as being more lightweight, breathable, and flexible jerseys compared to the jerseys of the past.
But so far this season the uniforms have proven to be a bit too lightweight.
In fact, ever since Spring training, both fans and players have been complaining about how the uniforms are so thin that you can see right through them.
As you can imagine this has caused quite a stir in the MLB.
Players and fans both vocalized their concerns about being able to see players’ underwear.
But no one ever imagined that the uniforms would get this bad.
Who needs pants?
The Detroit Tigers were playing the Pittsburgh Pirates last week.
And during the game, Tigers’ outfielder Riley Greene was making a beeline for home plate and he slid in for a run.
Nothing out of the ordinary so far.
But when Greene stood up fans got to see a lot more than they paid for.
During his slide, Riley Greene’s pants ripped in two.

Thankfully for everyone Riley Greene was wearing long boxer briefs so no one got to see anything swinging around.
But pants don’t come off a stripper that easily.
This madness needs to be fixed by Major League Baseball.
These uniforms are a joke and this is just another prime example of why the MLB needs to go back to the old and durable uniforms.
One can only hope that the MLB doesn’t continue down a path like NASCAR and change unnecessary things about the game.
NASCAR changed decades of history, from their cars to the race format, all in the name of making the racing league more modern.
But the changes ultimately lead to a steep decline of the racing league.
And people have been talking about big changes to the MLB with the uniforms being a starting point.
Families won’t be flocking to games if this uniform trend continues.
