Crime continues to plague most American cities with career criminals running wild through the streets without any fear of getting in trouble.
Nobody is safe in today’s America, causing many to fear leaving their home, going to work, or even going to the store.
And healthcare workers are horrified after this gut-wrenching attack unfolded without consequences.
This attack demonstrates New York City’s failure to protect its citizens
Following the death of George Floyd in 2020, many cities immediately bowed down to the “woke” mob, completely unending criminal justice systems to favor criminals.
In many American cities, criminals are let right back onto the street after committing horrific crimes, allowing career criminals to keep committing crimes with impunity.
Last January, one of these career criminals made headlines after brutally assaulting a healthcare worker, putting New York City’s broken legal justice system in the spotlight.
According to Fox News, healthcare worker Chelsea Mora “was reportedly attacked by Edward Johnson, a repeat offender, in January at Jacobi Medical Center. Mora said when she went to take Johnson’s vitals he hit her in the face, giving her a corneal hematoma and PTSD from the assault.”
On Monday, Mora spoke out about this attack with Todd Piro of Fox and Friends, detailing her attack and how it was allowed to happen.
Per Mora, “It’s difficult, to say the least… we wake up every morning or night, we work 12 hours to 16-hour shifts to help people help the most vulnerable in our society, help our sick patients in underserved communities, and we get abused. And these things just fall under the guise of mental health disorders, and they’re kind of ignored.”
She added, “It seems to be a severe problem in New York City now. I think these soft-on-crime laws that are being implemented aren’t helping us, like citizens of New York, [and] aren’t helping healthcare staff in dealing with these types of criminals. This one particular gentleman has over 20 open cases, and he’s out on the streets abusing and assaulting people.”
Mora then pointed the blame towards the ongoing border crisis, saying, “[A] certain percentage definitely should be blamed on the border crisis. I had no idea this particular patient’s migration status, but, it was pretty disheartening to find out that he was illegally here in this country and that he’s been… given so many chances.”

The assault on Chelsea Mora, which many media outlets have ignored, highlights the dangers of Joe Biden’s open borders agenda.
These failed border policies, combined with New York City’s pro-crime legal justice system have created a perfect storm for chaos and depravity.
Unless New York City starts clamping down on violent attacks like this one, then even more people will flee from the Big Apple in favor of places that actually uphold the law.
