Illegal immigration is exploding in America as a direct result of Joe Biden’s reluctance to secure the Mexican border.
Every single day thousands of illegal aliens, as well as drugs and other contraband, pour across America’s southern border with Mexico.
But, Greg Abbott is outraged after Eric Adams makes this horrible claim.
Democrats are unable to face the harsh realities of mass illegal immigration
For decades, conservatives have fought tooth and nail to secure America’s southern border with Mexico.
The massive influx of illegal aliens into border states like Texas has caused drug use and crime to swell.
Additionally, many of these border communities simply do not have the resources to accommodate thousands upon thousands of non-English speaking illegal aliens.
Many leftists on the other hand welcome illegal aliens with open arms, except when these aliens end up in their city.
In order to ease the congestion of illegal immigration in Texas, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has sent thousands of illegal aliens to Democrat-controlled cities like New York City, Chicago, and Washington D.C., who proudly boast themselves as sanctuary cities.
But now that these illegal aliens are on their front door steps, their tune has changed quite a bit.
Last Monday, New York Mayor Eric Adams tweeted “This weekend, we learned that Governor Abbott is once again deciding to play politics with people’s lives by resuming the busing of asylum seekers to New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Denver, and Washington, D.C.”
He added, “Not only is this behavior morally bankrupt and devoid of any concern for the well-being of asylum seekers, but it is also impossible to ignore the fact that Abbott is now targeting five cities run by Black mayors. Put plainly, Abbott is using this crisis to hurt Black-run cities.”
Lori Lightfoot, who is finishing out her term as Mayor of Chicago chimed in with “Nearly all the migrants have been in dire need of food, water, and clothing and many needed extensive medical care. Some of the individuals you placed on buses were women in active labor, and some were victims of sexual assault. None of these urgent needs were addressed in Texas.”
She added, “Instead, these individuals and families were packed onto buses and shipped across the country like freight without regard to their personal circumstances.”
Governor Greg Abbott has not yet responded to these criticisms.
There is no direct evidence that Texas or Governor Greg Abbott is targeting “black-run cities”.
At this point, those claims are nothing more than circumstantial.
For years, liberals like Eric Adams and Lori Lightfoot have claimed that their cities are open and welcoming to illegal aliens, but not that they have arrived, the welcome seems to have worn out.
