Fringe leftists have dragged the Democrat Party to a terrifying place.
Radical policies have been pushed into the mainstream.
And “woke” Democrats refused to protect children with one infuriating move.
The Democrat Party is dug in on opposing Republicans on virtually anything.
This is excellent news for the far-left radicals because they can get away with truly horrific ideas simply out of party loyalty.
For example, Democrats in Colorado killed a bill in committee that increased punishment for child sex traffickers.
House Bill 1092 was shelved by an 8-3 party-line vote in the State, Civic, Military and Veterans Affairs Committee.
Democrats argued that the bill was unnecessary despite Colorado being one of the top states for instances of child sex trafficking.
Republican State Representative Scott Bottoms explained, “These are the times that I am discouraged about my job as a representative and also just what happens here at the Capitol. We sat in a committee all day discussing whether or not somebody that buys little children—these are two, three, four, five-year-old kids—they buy them for sex. Then we tried to get a bill through—Representative Bradley, sent one through, that was going to put these buyers in jail. Right now, most of the time they get off on probation, almost all the time. They get off on probation after buying a child and raping a little child. And we tried to say, well, they need to at least serve a minimum of four years. And then we sat and listened to the Democrats fight against this bill, fight against putting these people in jail, and came up with all kinds of reasons including that these buyers are victims themselves. This is very discouraging, and it’s also very disgusting that they would actually defend this. And then they voted completely along party lines. Democrats voted 100% that they did not want to put these pedophiles in jail. They defended the pedophiles. This is why it’s so difficult sometimes to do what we do around here.”
It is inexplicable that the Democrats would take such an outrageous position.
But these are the pro-crime policies that have been allowed to fester in deep-blue strongholds.
Bottoms added “if you believe in prayer at all, please pray. We are fighting truly dark forces here. This is not okay. This is evil stuff that we’re dealing with.”
Everywhere Democrats have a strong majority, expect increasingly insane policies to get implemented.
