Joe Biden’s immigration policies have been an utter disgrace.
Even deep-blue strongholds in the north are beginning to feel the pinch.
But one Democrat Mayor blamed Biden’s border crisis on something that will enrage you.
Millions of illegal aliens have crossed into the country on Joe Biden’s watch.
The record-setting number of people illegally coming into America was avoidable, but Biden reversed Donald Trump’s effective border policies.
The border crisis has gotten so bad that even so-called sanctuary jurisdictions are crying uncle.
Instead of addressing the problem, Democrats are simply blaming Republicans.
Taking no accountability
Denver Mayor Mike Johnston announced that $90 million of city services were going to “newcomers,” another euphemism for illegal aliens, and he added, “We spent a lot of time as you know, this January and February advocating at the federal level for support here. There was a bipartisan bill to do that that failed in the House. You know that story. I think what we found at that point is whether we would like the federal government to do it or not, that was no longer a choice for us. It was clear that was not going to happen in this Congress in the next several months. So we felt like we had to take this into our own hands to come up with a solution. And that’s why what we’ve come up with is something that both provides better support for newcomers and stabilizes the budget for Denver residents without cutting core public services.”

Pretending to have a solution
Democrats and their media allies have been attempting to shift blame to Republicans for refusing to pass a terrible Senate border bill that would have done nothing to stop the flow of illegal aliens into the country.
The House passed HR-1, a much tougher immigration bill, but Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) refused to bring it up for a vote.
The bottom line is that the establishment wants more immigration, but does not want to take the blame for it because the policy is always unpopular.
Denver has been particularly hit hard as a result of declaring itself a sanctuary city in 2017.
Leftist Democrats in the city also passed “progressive” immigration laws in 2021, so a lot of this is their own doing.
A few months back, the city announced it would be limiting the number of days migrants could stay in shelters because they were being overrun.
Pointing the finger at Republicans is not a policy, and eventually, the chickens will come home to roost.
