As Democrat politicians across the country have grown more extreme, more and more ordinary Americans are saying they’ve had enough of their neighbors being forced to live in fear.
But one man screaming ‘oh hell no’ caught everyone off guard.
And MLG was just blindsided over her ban plan by the last person anyone expected.
Blue State Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham’s gun ban plan is so radical that some on the Left cannot even stomach it
It is no secret that New Mexico has become one of the most crime infested, dangerous states in the union.
Violence has consumed the state, and in recent weeks a score of individuals, including children have died at the hands of deranged criminals.
Rather than focusing on stopping crime, the state’s Democrat Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham issued a sweeping executive order effectively abolishing many state citizens’ legal gun rights.
Lujan Grisham ordered open and concealed carry laws suspended in Albuquerque and its surrounding Bernalillo County for 30 days in what she deemed a “public health emergency.”
“When New Mexicans are afraid to be in crowds, to take their kids to school, to leave a baseball game – when their very right to exist is threatened by the prospect of violence at every turn – something is very wrong,” the Lujan Grisham claimed at a press event following issuing the order.
Lujan Grisham has since faced tremendous backlash for her unconstitutional and clearly illegal order across New Mexico and nationwide, including even from high-profile figures on the Left.
But its prominent anti-gun activist David Hogg’s criticism of the move really has people talking.
Publicly known as a Parkland school shooting survivor, Hogg took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to call Lujan Grisham to task, stating “[T]here is no such thing as a state public health emergency exception to the U.S. Constitution.”
In response to the criticism, Lujan Grisham’s press secretary Caroline Sweeney spoke out to Fox News Digital claiming that this particular order “does not suspend the Constitution but instead state laws over which the governor has jurisdiction.”
She added, “The governor is looking for proactive partners who will bring solutions to the table – not naysayers who have no real answers to the gun violence epidemic we are faced with.”

Instead of keeping criminals off of the streets, Lujan Grisham seems far more interested in attacking their political opponents.
Bernalillo County Sheriff John Allen, a Democrat, also called out the obvious regarding Lujan Grisham’s order, declaring at a press conference that “It’s unconstitutional, so there’s no way we can enforce that order. This ban does nothing to curb gun violence.”
If anything, Lujan Grisham’s order will put more lives at risk, as more good guys with guns will be forced to leave their guns at home.
As Sheriff Allen made clear in his press conference, he believes Governor Grisham’s orders have nothing to do with stopping gun violence.
Rarely are gun crimes committed by law-abiding gun owners.
To the contrary, it’s often these citizens who stop violent criminals – and they do so more often than not without having to fire a shot gun rights supporters say,
That is to say that simply by displaying that they’re prepared to use deadly force in a defensive shooting, law-abiding gun owners cause would-be perpetrators to think twice.
So it’s no surprise that that is among the reasons many Americans agree that trampling on the rights of law-abiding gun owners is not a smart way to tackle crime.
