In today’s America, nobody is safe from rampant crime, which is plaguing every community across the land.
Criminals feel emboldened to attack whoever gets in their way, and nobody is stopping them.
But Left-wing leaders in this blue state are quaking in their loafers as outrage breaks out over a horrendous incident involving a disabled child.
America is enveloped in crime and absolutely nobody is safe
Life for Kamorin (last name redacted for privacy) is not easy by any stretch of the imagination.
Kamorin is a 13-year-old boy who lives in Denver, Colorado, and suffers from autism and epilepsy.
Even though life is an uphill battle for him, he still puts on a brave face every morning and does his best to be a good student.
But Kamorin’s first day of high school will be a day he will not soon forget.
Starting high school is always a daunting task, especially if you have autism and epilepsy like Kamorin.
While his mother was driving him home from his first day of ninth grade, Kamorin’s mother saw a man screaming at cars like a madman in the middle of the street, ABC 7 in Denver reported.
Naturally, she just minded her own business and kept driving, and that is when 17 gunshots soared through the air.
Instantly, young Kamorin started shouting “I’m bleeding, I’m bleeding”, every mother’s worst nightmare.
Fortunately, there was a police officer nearby who was able to provide life-saving first aid before medics could arrive.
According to Kamorin’s mother, “the bullet had entered through the back of his arm, broke his bone, came out near his bicep and entered the top of his forearm.”
The good news is, the hospital was able to remove the bullet and Kamorin will survive, however, he will be scarred for the rest of his life.
As far as the perpetrator is concerned, Katrelle James aged 22 was arrested and charged with first degree attempted murder.
In the state of Colorado, this crime carries a sentence of 8 to 24 years in prison (plus five years of mandatory parole) and/or fines of $5,000 to $1 million.
It is no longer safe to live in most American cities
It is a miracle that young Kamorin was not shot dead by this homicidal maniac.
And the sad thing is, it is highly unlikely that Katrelle James will be held accountable for committing this senseless and heinous act of violence.
Denver, like many western cities, has adopted a pro-crime stance, especially after the George Floyd riots in 2020.
Criminals are often given very lenient sentences after committing horrible crimes like this one, and almost always go right back to committing crimes the moment they are released.
Parents should never have to worry about their children being slaughtered when they drive them home from school.
Hopefully, this horrific shooting will prompt the liberals who are mismanaging Denver to actually do something about out-of-control and senseless crime in their city.
But given their reluctance to take action so far, this is highly unlikely.
