Democrats have become extreme on a number of issues.
And their new abortion position might be the most radical of all.
Now Illinois is set to pass one jaw-dropping abortion bill that has parents furious.
Illinois is on the brink of passing an abortion bill that would allow minors to get abortions without parental consent.
The bill is the latest in the Left’s move toward the fringes on the abortion issue.
The Daily Wire reports:
“The Illinois legislature has voted to repeal a law requiring that parents be notified if a child under the age of 18 seeks out an abortion and the state’s Democratic governor, J.B. Pritzker has vowed to sign the measure when it reaches his desk. The Illinois Senate voted to approve the repeal on Tuesday and the Illinois House narrowly passed the same bill on Wednesday, leaving just Pritzker to sign the measure repealing the state’s requirement that parents be notified when their child seeks to obtain an abortion.”
Democrats used to believe in the principle of “safe, legal, and rare” with regard to abortion.
But that seems like an eternity ago.
Now former DNC chair Tom Perez said pro-life Democrats were no longer welcome in the party, and states like Illinois are passing radical abortion bills.
New York State lit up the One World Trade Center pink in celebration of passing a law that permitted abortion up to the point of birth.
Even though a clear majority of Americans are against third-trimester abortions, the Democrats are moving full speed ahead.
In perhaps the most ghoulish moment of the abortion conversation, Virginia Governor Ralph Northam appeared on a radio station and essentially said that doctors and women should allow newborn babies with congenital defects to die so long as they’re made “comfortable.”
The Left have no contrition on the issue of abortion.
It has become a sacrament for them.
Pro-life films are subject to media blackouts similar to pornography.
In fact, in many instances it’s probably easier to promote porn than pro-life messaging.
The social media site Pinterest even listed pro-life content as pornogoraphy in order to stop it from spreading on the platform.
A Roe v. Wade film told from a pro-life perspective had to film in secret, and crew members walked off the production when they discovered the subject matter.
Journalists even showed up to the set to harass cast and crew.
Illinois’ new abortion bill is right in line with the Democrats’ new radical promotion of murdering babies.
