The Left has gone off the deep end.
That’s become particularly clear in education.
But now Gender Queer-opposing parents loved what one blue state Congressman did to make their governor spitting mad.
Congressman steps up for local kids and parents
A Republican Pennsylvania Congressman is attempting to get something disturbing removed from schools.
Rep. Fred Keller (R-PA) is insisting on answers from the Keystone State’s Democrat Governor Tom Wolf about the review process for books that are allowed in public schools.
Radical leftists took over education decades ago, and they have systematically funneled extreme ideas in curricula and libraries.
Only now are parents finding out about it.
Keller wrote to Wolf, “We write to you today to relay the concerns of various Pennsylvania educators, state officials, and most importantly parents regarding radical indoctrination of students in the classroom. Many have understandably reached out to our offices to express outrage over material currently being carried in school libraries that we know is unfit for school aged children. Yet this material remains widely available in many school districts across our Commonwealth. For example, many of these concerns have come from the book ‘Gender Queer: A Memoir’ by Maia Kobabe, which includes concerning and graphic material and raises questions as to the relevancy this material plays in the elementary and secondary education environment.”
Gender Queer is a graphic novel that has become popular among radical LGBTQ+ activists.
The book is quite literally pornographic, and has absolutely no place in public schools.
There is one graphic depiction of oral sex in the book, as well as a disturbing conversation about “vagina slime.”
This is the filth that radicals are putting in public schools.
Merrick Garland made it clear where Democrat Party stands
Parents have begun calling out nonsense like this, and they have been targeted by the Biden Department of Justice.
Attorney General Merrick Garland literally had the FBI investigate Virginia parents who protested at school board meetings last year about the transgender and Critical Race Theory (CRT) indoctrination being pushed on their kids.
Those parents helped spark political change in their state.
Pennsylvania Democrats should be worried the same could happen to them.
Keller asked Wolf, “What processes are currently in place to review school library material? How do school boards, schools, and librarians engage with parents to determine age and academically appropriate content? What have the PDE (Pennsylvania Department of Education) and the Administration done to ensure the focus remains on academic outcomes and student success? Has there been any investigation into this matter? Please report back regarding how any of the inappropriate material being supplied to Pennsylvania schools fits into the regular school curriculum, enhances student learning or improves educational outcomes.”
Much of this material is indefensible, which is why Democrats are attempting to ignore it, or simply demonize parents raising objections.
They do not want to grapple with the ideological rot that has taken hold in so many schools across the country.
