While it couldn’t have come as a surprise, the rage of the far left is palpable now that the Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade.
Leftists have come up with all sorts of crazy plans to cope with their loss, including turning national parks into makeshift abortion clinics.
Now, Sen. Liz Warren is again pitching a radical idea to undermine the Supreme Court.
The spring of 2021 was a heady time to be a Democrat.
Joe Biden had just been inaugurated as President after a months-long “basement” campaign where he stayed largely out of public view and farmed out his campaign to the corporate-controlled media who were eager to do his bidding.
Democrats deluded themselves into thinking that an Electoral College majority built on 40,000 votes in three states and an evenly split US Senate gave them license to push radical policies as if they had an FDR-style mandate.
The gambit failed as lofty, Lefty ambitions crashed into a harsh reality that the Conservative grassroots had impressed upon Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) that they had better just say no and say it often.
At the time, the Left thought the world was theirs and planned to cement their power for a generation by gutting the Senate filibuster rule.
Then, they’d go on to expand the Supreme Court by packing it with new leftist ideologues who would rubber stamp progressives’ every scheme, including making two new blue states by ramming through Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico statehood, which would all but guarantee four additional Democrat US Senators.
But for Sen. Liz Warren (D-MA), sometimes no doesn’t really mean no.
Appearing on the ABC News’, This Week with Martha Raddatz, Warren resurrected that push so near and dear to those who cannot accept less than total control.
Warren said, “Republicans have been very overt about trying to get people through the court who didn’t have a published record on Roe but who they knew, wink, wink, nod, nod, were going to be extremist on the issue of Roe v. Wade. And that is exactly what we have ended up with. This court has lost legitimacy. They have burned whatever legitimacy they may still have had after their gun decision, after their voting decision, after their union decision. They just took the last of it and set a torch to it with the Roe v. Wade opinion. I believe we need to get some confidence back in our court, and that means we need more justices on the United States Supreme Court.”

“Extremist” is in the eye of the beholder, given that Democrats in 2022 are fine with the idea of abortion without limits up until the point of crowning.
Also, the corporate push to pay for travel expenses for women to get abortions has little to do with magnanimity and everything to do with a ghoulish devotion to dollars and cents, as forking over a few hundred bucks is far cheaper than paying for maternity and medical care over the long haul.
And it’s easy to argue that the initial 1973 Roe decision that conjured out of thin air a right to terminate pregnancy not existent in the Constitution, was itself rather extreme.
But for Warren and her ilk, it’s not about extreme or reasonable or anything of the like, but rather the Left getting their way all the time with zero debate and then demonizing anyone who dares to disagree.
They want every state to become a blue state.
They’ll do whatever it takes to make it happen.
But given the mood of the country and their bare majorities, Democrats ought to be very, very afraid about what’s going to happen in Novembers’ Midterm elections.
