Democrats in one blue state are panicking after they realized a law from a more ethical era is about to come back to haunt them

What Democrats like to call “progress” amounts to driving the country off a cliff.

They are hell-bent on insisting things that are flat out wrong get a legal stamp of approval.

And now Democrats in one blue state are panicking after they realized a law from a more ethical era is about to come back to haunt them.

On speculation the U.S. Supreme Court will overturn Roe v. Wade, abortion provider Planned Parenthood rushed to court to get what looks like special treatment from a left-wing judge.

Doing so led a Michigan judge to grant a temporary injunction to keep a law that predates Roe v. Wade from being enforced.

Apparently, Court of Claims Judge Elizabeth Gleicher is a true-blue abortion supporter.

“Forced pregnancy, and the concomitant compulsion to endure the medical and psychological risks accompanying it, contravene the right to make autonomous medical decisions,” she wrote in her opinion.

The 1931 law bans abortion for any reason other than to save the life of the mother.

Right to Life of Michigan is getting ready to battle the judge’s blatant attempt to legislate from the bench.

John Bursch, senior counsel for Alliance Defending Freedom says the judge had no jurisdiction to rule the way she did according to a Reuters report.

“Government officials have a duty to uphold the law and protect their citizens, including unborn children,” Bursch said.

Nine different U.S. states have laws against abortion, which were rendered unenforceable in 1973 when the US Supreme Court botched up their attempt to maintain justice with the trainwreck of a case that Roe v. Wade turned into.

But as much as they’re trying to make it sound like the Supreme Court’s pending decision would make abortion illegal in America, nothing could be farther from the truth.

The leftist Guttmacher Institute claims that only 26 states are certain or likely to ban abortion.

Michigan with its pre-existing law banning abortion is an unusual case.

It will merely make it possible for states to choose to do the right thing after Roe is overturned.

In most blue states, where angry protestors are rioting over no longer getting to kill their babies, nothing is likely to change.

But Democrats have proven time and again that they don’t need a real problem to get their supporters all kinds of riled up.

The Supreme Court leak is a perfect way to stir up their base during a critical fundraising season ahead of what’s been shaping up as an ugly primary for Democrats.

What they need more than anything is a distraction from Joe Biden and his unbelievably destructive first two years in office.

Ironically, their values are so skewed, pushing like crazy for something as ugly and awful as abortion just might do the trick.
