Bullying incident caught on camera will truly shock you

Violent crime has been trending in the wrong direction.

Attacks involving children are particularly disturbing.

And one bullying incident caught on camera will truly shock you.

Due to smartphones and social media, many horrific crimes have been caught on video when they otherwise would have gone relatively unnoticed.

And an unsettling bullying incident happened in Ogden, New York near Rochester.

Unnerving attack video shows 11-year slammed on pavement

A tall high-school kid picked up a much smaller 11-year-old boy and body slammed him on the pavement.

Supposedly, the bully attacked the younger kid because he made a “diss track”—an insult rap song—against his little sister.

However, the middle-schooler said it was a case of mistaken identity; he repeatedly said, “It was the other dude.”

Attacker claimed the child made a “diss track” about his sister and that suspension was racially motivated

The attacker claims that his suspension was racially motivated, but at least one anonymous student said he had a history of bullying.

The student told The Post Millennial that the bullying incidents “have all been against kids way smaller…[He] once slammed a much smaller kid and punched him. Everyone saw it but a teacher. He’s also fought a kid and chased him in a lunchroom.”

The Spencerport Central School District said in response to the incident, “Each of us — individually and unanimously — have shared our horror over the video involving a high school ninth grader slamming a Cosgrove [Middle School] student to the ground yesterday. We are all parents. We are all concerned board and community members. We take this act of violence very seriously, and without question, we will support any strict disciplinary consequences once the investigation concludes.”

Needless to say, the parents of Cosgrove were aghast at the incident caught on video.

Lisa Watson said, “It’s like—makes your stomach turn…And that could be anybody’s kid…It is concerning when you hear what has happened in the school day. My kids should be able to use the bathroom at school. Now, I am not talking about the elementary school, but the middle and high school. They are uncomfortable to go to the bathroom because of what happens in there.”

Marcie Rush, a teacher, added, “It was just horrifying to see something like that…I do think that at this point there’s not too much they can say or do…It is under investigation, so I respect the statement that they made tonight, and I do think that our security is a top concern.”

The attacker is currently suspended indefinitely, and criminal charges have been filed against him.
