Democrats are being smacked in the face by reality.
Far-left policies have been a complete disaster.
And a Democrat Governor went full MAGA and left everyone stunned with this one comment.
Democrats in deep-blue strongholds have been virtue-signaling for years about their “sanctuary city” status.
But they began singing a different tune when illegal aliens flooded into their cities.
For example, New York Mayor Eric Adams said that the migrant crisis would, “destroy New York City.”
Students at a high school were forced into distance learning so illegal aliens could use the building as a shelter and processing center.
Now migrants got caught on camera beating two NYPD officers.

The migrants were arrested, but released without bail.
Worse yet, they were completely unrepentant, flipping off cameras outside the courthouse.

Governor Kathy Hochul was asked if the migrants should be deported.
She responded, “I mean, if someone commits a crime against a police officer in the state of New York and they’re not here legally, it’s definitely worth checking into…I think that’s actually something that should be looked at…These are law enforcement officers who should never under any circumstances be subjected to physical assault…It’s wrong on all accounts and I’m looking to judges and prosecutors to do the right thing.”
Mayor Adams shared similar sentiments.
He added, “Those migrants who are here because they want to be part of the American dream, we say ‘yes’ to that…But those who are breaking our laws, we need to reexamine the laws that don’t allow us to deport them, because they are doing violent acts. We cannot create an atmosphere where you’re going to bring violence in our city.”
This is common sense, but Democrats have drifted into loony, far-left land.
Republican Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis called out Democrats for impeding federal immigration officials from doing their jobs.
Malliotakis said, “The city is refusing to cooperate with federal detainer and deportation requests from Immigration and Customs Enforcement…Republicans, Democrats & Independents should, at the very least, be able to agree that migrants who assault our police or commit crimes in our country should be deported immediately and have any future immigration application denied.”
That should be a no-brainer, but hardcore leftists do not even agree on that.
There’s also the problem of porous borders, which allow for repeat deportees to come back into the country.
Even Democrats in deep-blue cities are reaching a breaking point.
