Most American colleges and universities have become completely taken over by the “woke” mob.
Instead of learning valuable skills, many students are instead learning to hate America and hate each other.
But these “woke” law students are furious after their hateful ways catch up to them.
Campus extremists are finally starting to get a taste of their own medicine
Many campuses across the nation have completely surrendered to the “woke” mob, often prioritizing feelings and politics over academics.
The City University of New York Law School in particular has gained a reputation for their “wokeness” so much so that venues across the Big Apple are refusing to host their graduation ceremonies.
In a letter to faculty, CUNY Dean of Law Sudha Setty wrote, “They [Hunter College] have a very complicated set of concerns about hosting our commencement. That’s the summary of it.”
She added, “I might be able to do it elsewhere … we are in a very public setting.”
Many believe that CUNY Law Schools woes are direct result of last year’s commencement speech where speaker Fatima Mousa Mohammed went on a meandering rant, which many deemed as anti-American and anti-Semitic.
In her speech, she infamously criticized the university for continuing to “train and cooperate with the fascist NYPD, the military.”
She also falsely criticized the university for continuing “to train [Israeli] soldiers to carry out that violence globally,” adding that she loathes Israel for allegedly “murdering the old, the young, attacking even funerals and graveyards as it encourages lynch mobs to target Palestinian homes and businesses.”
This speech was immediately condemned by the CUNY Board of Trustees and New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
Nonetheless, CUNY Law is still infested with extreme far-left students like Fatima Mousa Mohammed, who seem to hate America, western society, and Jews.
However, university officials have made virtually no changes to their policies, further allowing the radical far-left brainwashing of their students.
Other universities across the nation, including some of America’s most prestigious institutions such as Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania have similarly come under fire for promoting antisemitism and anti-American propaganda on their campuses.
Although several Christian universities with conservative traditions have gained in popularity, such as Liberty and Grand Canyon University, many fear that it is not nearly enough to combat the Left’s stranglehold on academia.
The Left’s iron grip on academia could have long lasting consequences
Many on the Left either support or chose to ignore the radicalization of American colleges and universities, but many experts warn that this is not a laughing matter.
Rather than teach students the skills they need to survive in the real world, many professors have opted to brainwash their students to despise America and western values.
However, the ousting of several high-profile university presidents, and the refusal of venues to accommodate NYU Law demonstrates that many people in high places are growing weary of this radicalization.
