The combination of the refusal to enforce immigration laws and decades of leftist virtue-signaling is having devastating consequences.
Among the multiple millions of illegal immigrants that have arrived since Joe Biden reversed Trump-era immigration policies are some severely problematic people.
Now NYPD cops have been brutally attacked by illegals on video and what happened next will leave you livid.
The illegal immigrant situation in New York has spiraled out of control.
Over 100,000 have arrived in the last two years as the Biden Administration has refused to secure the southern border.
Tens of thousands in New York have been crammed into makeshift shelters with poor living conditions and violent attacks are on the increase.
The shelters have all been set up at taxpayers’ expense by Mayor Eric Adams (D).
On Tuesday, a group of illegal immigrants living at one of these shelters violently attacked New York Police Department officers.
A surreal scene in broad daylight
Video taken of the incident shows a traumatic and chaotic scene.
Wanted in midtown for assaulting an NYPD officer.

It was reported to police that on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at approximately 2030 hours, officers attempted to disperse a disorderly group in front of 220 West 42 Street when a physical altercation ensued. When officers… pic.twitter.com/PrTDkqmoJt— Viral News NYC (@ViralNewsNYC) January 30, 2024
The officers were savagely beaten by the group.
A security guard told the Daily News, “They were kicking and punching one of the cops. They mobbed the cops. It was wild.”
The security guard added that the men frequently congregated behind the building, often drinking and smoking.
The attack all stemmed from the officers attempting to put one of the illegal immigrants under arrest.
Four men in total were arrested at the scene over the incident and all of them were charged with assault on a police officer.
Incredibly, all four were released from jail without bail.
It’s all due to a New York state law mandating that those charged with crimes deemed “nonviolent” and many violent crimes are not eligible to pay bail.
Police Benevolent Association President: “The justice system can’t or won’t protect us”
Patrick Hendry is president of the Police Benevolent Association, the city’s largest cop union, and said in a statement, “Attacks on police officers are becoming an epidemic, and the reason is [the] revolving door we’re seeing in cases like this one. It is impossible for police officers to deal effectively with crime and disorder if the justice system can’t or won’t protect us while we do that work.”
Republican Alison Esposito, candidate for Congress in New York’s 18th congressional district, said, “New Yorkers are living in an upside-down world thanks to waves of illegal immigration coupled with bail reform. Our leaders have created a system where criminals are protected over law-abiding citizens, and illegal migrants are prioritized over police officers,” Esposito said. “New York Democrats have embraced pro-criminal laws that embolden criminals, effectively surrendering our streets to lawlessness.”
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) wrote on X, “Illegals can walk across the border, beat up cops in NYC and be released without bail. This is a national embarrassment. Deport the illegals and close the border!”

Because of what the mayor calls health and safety concerns, the city has begun imposing an 11 P.M. curfew at some shelters.
Demonstrations both in favor of and in opposition to housing the illegal immigrants have occurred and the issue of immigration promises to feature prominently in the November elections.
