John Fetterman continues to get under the skin of the Left.
The Senator ran as a “progressive” but has since gotten cross with the far-left group.
And Fetterman stuffed Joe Biden in a locker with one sentence.
Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman has almost been a completely different person since returning from his hospital stint for depression.
Fetterman has made several statements that have rankled the Left, such as saying that he was “not a progressive.”
He has also been critical of Joe Biden’s immigration policy.
He recently told CNN’s Jake Tapper, “I honestly don’t understand why it’s controversial to say we need a secure border.”
That should be a commonsense position, but the Democrats have embraced open borders.
Tapper asked, “I saw a poll that indicated you have very high approval among Democratic voters in Pennsylvania and this information came along with the tag that Twitter is not real life because obviously a lot of progressives on Twitter have been attacking you for your position on Israel, for noting that, in your opinion, saying that there is a crisis at the border does not make one xenophobic. Why do you think you’ve been so criticized by so many progressives?”
Fetterman responded, “I honestly don’t understand. I don’t understand why it’s controversial to anybody to decide that you’re going to stand with Israel in this situation. I honestly don’t understand why it’s controversial to say we need a secure border…And I think two things can be true at the same time. You can be very supportive of immigration, but we also need to have a secure border…I think about immigration is we want to provide the American dream for any migrant. But it seems very difficult when you have 300,000 people showing up, encountered at our border, to do that. And I think we need to reset, and we have to work together and develop a new comprehensive solution to that.”

To Tapper’s point, Fetterman has been furiously attacked by the “woke” left.
Fetterman referred to Harvard as “pinko,” which set off left-wing commentator Cenk Uygur, founder of The Young Turks media network.
Uygur wrote on Twitter, “Now John Fetterman is telling everyone how he’s not a progressive, he rejects us and is now calling Harvard ‘pinko.’ What the f*ck? This is why people lose hope, because of frauds like Fetterman. You work hard to get a progressive elected and they turn into Republicans instantly…Someone should do a poll of John Fetterman in PA. I bet his numbers went down significantly…”
It seems as though his poll numbers did not go down “significantly.”
Perhaps people are finally sick of the extremism within the Democrat Party.
