Democrats have trampled societal norms in order to take down Donald Trump.
The next left-wing scheme is always worse than the last.
And an independent journalist just torched the latest ridiculous Trump witch hunt.
Democrats in the state of Colorado attempted to disqualify Donald Trump from the Republican primary on the grounds that he was an “insurrectionist.”
The outrageous maneuver was celebrated by the Democrat-controlled media, and it was mimicked by Democrats in other states attempting to make a name for themselves.
Off the ballot
For example, Judge Tracie Porter in Illinois unilaterally decided to remove Trump from the state ballot.
Left-leaning investigative journalist Michael Tracey pointed out that Porter largely dealt with traffic violations.
He wrote, “The judge who just threw Trump off the ballot in Illinois typically ‘presides over minor traffic violations.’”

Left-wing fact-checkers pointed out that Porter moved to a separate division that handled election and tax cases.
Tracey responded, “Tell the Cook County Democratic Party that their website contains untrue information then.”
Irrespective of Porter’s current title, her actions were absurd.
“Are we the baddies?”
Independent journalist Glenn Greenwald commented, “US history in the last 8 years: Democrats have destroyed every norm, repeatedly used classic authoritarian and anti-democratic tactics, and embraced censorship and weaponization of the law in the name of …. saving democracy. They are exactly what they claim they fight…”
Former Republican gubernatorial candidate Darren Bailey wrote, “Our fight to keep President Trump on the ballot is just beginning to ensure YOUR voices are heard. This goes beyond mere right or wrong; it’s about the future of our country.”
Republican State Representative Blaine Wilhour added, “This decision is not worth the paper it is printed on…It is an abuse of power and everyone – even people who don’t like President Trump – should be appalled.”
The Supreme Court just voted 9-0 to reverse the absurd Colorado ruling, so this Illinois decision is going nowhere fast.
Democrats are clearly not confident in Joe Biden’s ability to defeat Donald Trump in the general election.
If they were, they would not be stooping to such desperate tactics.
As Greenwald pointed out, Democrats have been fear-mongering about the end of American democracy, but they are the ones undermining it by attempting to disenfranchise voters.
Democrats have spent the last three years demonizing Trump as an insurrectionist, but they did not make a compelling case to the American people.
