Democrats are ruining cities with their far-left policies.
Their constituents are finally getting vocal about it.
And Elon Musk had this two-word response to a citizen furious at one Democrat governor.
Democrats were content to virtue-signal about illegal immigration until the problem came to their doorstep.
Republican governors in border states put the Democrats’ “sanctuary” jurisdiction declarations to the test by busing migrants to cities like New York, Chicago, Martha’s Vineyard, and Washington, D.C.
Unsurprisingly, Democrats completely changed their tune.
For instance, D.C. Councilwoman Brianne Nadeau complained, “It’s been said and it’s worth reiterating that the governors of Texas and Arizona have created this crisis. And the federal government has not stepped up to assist the District of Columbia so we, along with our regional partners, will do what we’ve always done: we’ll rise to the occasion. We’ve learned from border towns like El Paso and Brownsville and in many ways the governors of Texas and Arizona have turned us into a border town.”
Now Boston is being put to the test, and the locals are furious.
Black residents in the Roxbury neighborhood are being displaced from their community center, which is being used as an illegal alien shelter at least until May.
One furious resident told police outside the community center, “I’m f*cking homeless. I work a full-time job, 40 hours, and can’t pay to live here. How the f*ck are y’all gonna bring somebody else here?”
Elon Musk responded to the outburst, “He’s right.”

Meanwhile, Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey was in tears making the announcement, knowing that her order was causing a massive disruption in local communities.
“I’m emotional guys, okay? Because I’m committed to this. Little kids need to be able to breathe clean air. They need to be able to access swimming pools. They need to have lifeguards there who can teach them how to swim. And they need to have activities. I don’t know what we’re gonna do for a couple, three months. I’ll call universities. I’ll call other places.

However, it was not suburban community centers that were forced to become migrant facilities.
So-called progressives in liberal suburbs can virtue-signal the loudest without having to face the ramifications of their own ideology.
Roxbury community activist Clifton Braithwaite said, “We sympathize with them, we as people in a community we love, but sometimes we love so many in spite of our own selves.”
Tony DaRocha, who coaches with Boston United Track and Cross-Country, explained, “We empathize with what’s going on. But at the same time our kids are impacted negatively. Our program is one of the few stable times in their lives.”
Kids who participated in a weekly free track program at the community are being displaced.
None of what the Democrats are doing makes any sense, but they are moving full speed ahead regardless.
