Joe Biden’s immigration policies are sinking the country.
Even Democrats are getting fed up.
And a Democrat mayor said Biden’s border crisis forced him to do one infuriating thing.
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has been repeating the Democrat party line that the “border is secure” for years.
But now that that talking point can no longer hold, Democrats have pivoted to blaming the border crisis on Republicans.
MSNBC host Al Sharpton even called the border crisis an “invasion,” language that would’ve gotten him called a conspiracy theory five minutes ago.
The latest Democrat to feel the burden of the border crisis is Denver Mayor Mike Johnston.
During a press conference, he of course blamed Republicans for refusing to sign a horrible Senate border deal that would have only made the problem worse, then announced cuts to city services.
Johnston said, “I’m here to talk a little bit about the devastating impact of the failure of Republican leadership in Congress this week to pass comprehensive immigration change and the impact that will have on both city budgets and on services that we can provide for newcomers in the city…We will start to have to greenlight a set of hard decisions about budget reductions across the city to meet those costs that we know will continue to arrive. We want to talk about two of those today. While they’re the first steps, they unfortunately will not be the last and may not be the hardest. This is a plan for shared sacrifice. And so in terms of our first step on city cuts, we are announcing today we will make some changes both to our services at DMV and to our services on Parks and Rec.”
BREAKING: Denver Mayor Mike Johnston (D) announces cuts in services at the DMV and Park & Recs to free up more resources for illegals. He warns there will be more cuts coming.
He blames Republicans for his decision to cut services to Denver residents.

This is only the latest measure undertaken by the Johnston administration.
Last month, NBC News reported that approximately “40,000 migrants have arrived in Denver over the past year, making a city with a population of just over 710,000 the top destination per capita for newly arrived migrants crossing the U.S. southern border and traveling north in buses from Texas. The influx is taking a toll on the city’s public safety net. Starting Feb. 5, Denver will limit the number of days migrants can stay in shelters and send those who exceed their stay out onto the streets.”
So Denver is kicking people onto the streets because the migrant crisis has spiraled out of control.
This is why polls show that Donald Trump has a 30-point lead on Biden regarding the issue of immigration.
