California pastor could pay the price after taking things to a whole new level
Every father fears his daughter coming home with some punk kid who does not treat her with respect or dignity.
However, as any father knows, convincing his daughter not to date somebody does not always work out very well.
A California pastor named Samuel Pasillas found himself in this situation when his daughter started dating a man he did not approve of.
But Pasillas did not exactly handle this tricky situation with grace.
According to Fox News, “Riverside authorities say Samuel Pasillas, 47, offered nearly $40,000 to Juan Manuel Cebreros, 55, and other men to kill his daughter’s boyfriend in October 2023.”
The report added, “California police last week arrested and charged a Victorville pastor, alleging that he contacted hitmen in a plot to kill his daughter’s boyfriend.”
On Tuesday, the Riverside Police Department issued a press release saying, “During their investigation, detectives uncovered evidence the father met with the men he hired and provided them information about the victim, including his location, the evening of the shooting.”
The press release added, “Detectives also determined these men were paid almost $40,000 by the father and had conducted surveillance on the victim in the weeks leading up to when they shot him.”
As it stands, Samual Pasillas faces charges of solicitation for murder, conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder, and assault with a deadly weapon.
His bond was set at a whopping $1 million, and he faces a maximum penalty of life in prison for these alleged crimes.
These actions have since sent shockwaves across the Riverside community, especially amongst those who attend Samual Pasillas’ church.
Needless to say, Samual Pasillas did a poor job of practicing what he preached, so to speak.

Violent crime has exploded in California in recent years, especially following the death of George Floyd in 2020.
In the case of Samual Pasilla, it appears as if he had no hard time finding cold-blooded killers who would do his bidding and risk life prison sentences for just $40,000.
Pasilla shows that crime has left an indelible mark on many American communities, with even preachers even going as far as to have people they do not like assassinated.
