When it comes to crime and depravity, nowhere in America tops the San Francisco Bay Area.
Businesses and residents are becoming overwhelmed with the violence and chaos that dictates their lives thanks to decades of Democrats control.
And Bay Area business owners are at a breaking point as this new scheme makes headlines.
Businesses and residents cannot leave the Bay Area any faster
For quite some time now, Democrats have had an iron grip on the Bay Area.
Cities like San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose have been run exclusively by radical Democrats and the results have been nothing short of catastrophic.
Now shoppers in the tri-valley have reasons to be concerned after it was announced by the Livermore Police Department that a new criminal scheme has ravaged the area.
More specifically, thieves are targeting shoppers at upscale establishments, particularly Trader Joe’s, waiting for shoppers to turn their backs and then stealing their purses and pocket bags.
Per the Livermore Police Department on Facebook, “Trust Your Instincts: If something feels off or if you notice any suspicious behavior, don’t hesitate to notify store staff or security immediately.”
The post added, “Remember, staying alert and taking proactive measures can go a long way in protecting your belongings and ensuring a worry-free shopping experience. Let’s work together to keep all stores a safe haven for shoppers!”
The city of Danville’s police department issued a similar warning on Facebook, telling shoppers, “Don’t assume your belongings are safe in a shopping cart without taking precautions. Always be mindful of your surroundings.”
Crime has skyrocketed all across the Bay Area, especially in Oakland, where restaurant giants In n Out Burger and Dennys have announced their complete abandonment of the city.
A number of other retail businesses have fled the Bay Area including Walgreens, CVS, Target, and even San Francisco’s own Nordstroms.
As a result, localities are losing millions in tax revenue, businesses small and large are suffering, and thousands of residents are losing their jobs.
Despite these mass closures, and the general exodus of people fleeing California, elected officials in the Bay Area and California seem unbothered.
Just last week California Governor Gavin Newsom shared an experience in which he visited a Target, and witnessed somebody stealing hundreds of dollars of merchandise.
When he asked the worker whether they were going to do anything about it, they shrugged and blamed the governor, not realizing they were talking to him.
Despite this awkward interaction, Newsom and other elected officials in the Golden State continue to blame conservatives and the media for their business woes.
California’s future is at grave risk as crime continues to surge
As Californian elected officials continue to ignore crime, millions of Californians are fleeing from the Golden state.
Meanwhile, illegal aliens flood across the border unchecked, and criminals rule the roost in most major cities across the state.
Many experts warn that if California does not act soon, then the state could face irreparable harm.
