Joe Biden’s approval ratings are plummeting.
Even members of his own party are beginning to grumble about his failed administration.
And the Biden White House was blindsided when these top blue state Democrats joined Kyrsten Sinema.
Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema vexed the Democrats when she left the Democratic Party and became an Independent.
Sinema made the move to preempt a Senate challenge from the hard left; Sinema is a moderate who occasionally votes against Joe Biden’s radical agenda.
Now other Democrats are joining Sinema regarding the issue of immigration.
Biden and the Democrats have talked a big game about creating sanctuary jurisdictions, but now that they’re faced with record-high levels of illegal immigration, they’re singing a different tune.
Republican Governors have forced Democrats to come face to face with the problem of illegal immigration by putting migrants on buses to “sanctuary” cities like New York City, Chicago, and Washington, D.C.
The same Democrats who welcomed open borders policies are now talking about how their cities are being overrun.
And with Title 42 lifting, the border surge is only going to get worse.
With leftists politicians panicking, the Biden administration will try to say there are tougher restrictions after Title 42 lift
Title 42 allowed border patrol to turn away illegal aliens due to the COVID pandemic, but so-called asylum seekers are champing at the bit to cross into the United States.
And Democrat Governors and Mayors are putting pressure on the Biden administration to curb the flow of illegal immigration into their jurisdictions.
Sinema said, “The Biden administration had two years to prepare for this and did not do so. And our state is going to bear the brunt.”
Even far-left Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs sounded the alarm, saying, “Without much more robust action from the federal government, the current situation will only get worse…As of today, we have not received an adequate response.”
Outgoing Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot resorted to emergency measures after a surge of new arrivals since last month.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who ripped Republicans for sending migrants to his city, is passing the buck by attempting to bus migrants to Rockland County.
Rockland County Executive Ed Day issued a state of emergency in response.
Day’s office said in a statement, “While city officials allege they will provide some short-term funding and services to these individuals, no realistic plans have been communicated as to who will house, feed, and support these individuals in the long-term.”
Republican Governors should continue to force Democrats to face the ramifications of their own ideology.
