Keeping up with current events is apparently super traumatic for Gen Z students, or at least that’s what a leftist school administrator wants us – and them – to believe.
Now a high school principal in one blue state is providing segregated rooms for students to “process” news.
And you won’t even believe what’s causing this big of a fuss in east coast classrooms.
A high school principal in Massachusetts has “promised racially segregated spaces for students and staff to ‘process’ a Wisconsin jury’s not guilty verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse case.”
According to the Washington Examiner, Newton North High School Principal Henry Turner says, “there is a long history of acquittals such as this when white people get off for murdering black people.”
Apparently, Turner was meant for the theater, but somehow became an “educator” in some accidental misguided turn.
If any of his poor students actually believe this authority figure in their lives, they no doubt are traumatized while he says he isn’t “surprised by the decision of the Rittenhouse case, but that lack of surprise doesn’t diminish the pain and the hurt.”
Perhaps he would feel better if he bothered to actually look into the facts in this case.
Rittenhouse was on trial after shooting three white men.
Furthermore, the prosecution’s case was so full of holes it quickly became apparent he didn’t really have a case.
Rittenhouse clearly shot the men in self-defense, as his attorney successfully argued, during a
2020 riot in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Thankfully, the jury did their job and exonerated Rittenhouse based on the facts in front of them.
In fact, given the currently hostile political climate, you have to wonder if quite a few of them aren’t hoping for a spot in the Witness Protection Program.
The case against Rittenhouse was so weak that on the day the jury’s decision came out even CNN gave up their attacks and published an article with this headline, “Things we learned from Kyle Rittenhouse’s trial that challenge assumptions about the case.”
Apparently, this whole situation is also challenging the assumptions of those of us who assume there is no one more biased than some members of the so-called “mainstream” media.
It seems some “educators” are even more out of touch with reality and truth than we could have ever imagined.
