In the thirteen months since Joe Biden assumed the Presidency, he’s done little to alienate the radicals in his party, even as failures mount and his poll numbers continue to slide.
Biden campaigned as a moderate but has governed from the far-left and the voters have started to notice.
Now one former presidential candidate is fuming over the GOP reaction to Biden’s radical SCOTUS pick.
On Sunday, Senator and failed presidential candidate Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) complained about criticism that Biden’s Supreme Court nominee, Ketanji Brown Jackson is “far left.”
On Fox News Sunday, host Harris Faulkner noted, “Already criticism from Republicans that she’s far left. In fact, Jonathan Turley, who’s an attorney who’ll join us on the panel later, said that ‘this is a political deliverable, a good one for President Biden’ because the other candidates were not as far-left.”
Klobuchar took umbrage at that characterization, saying, “Well, I just find those words offensive, honestly, because what I look at is this incredibly experienced woman who came up from two parents who were public school teachers, did everything she could — star of her high school debate team and is now nominated for the Supreme Court. I think she’s going to be a great judge.”
Conservatives say Jackson is a radical activist.
Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH) criticized her positions on parental rights in education, the First and Second Amendments, and school choice and said that she is “another left-wing pick.”
Joe Biden just nominated a radical, left-wing activist to serve a lifetime appointment on the Supreme Court.
His pick was the preferred choice of far-left special interests.
Republicans will make sure voters know how radical his pick really is.

Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel put the hammer down, saying, “Maybe the only promise Joe Biden has kept is his pledge to nominate a liberal, activist judge to the Supreme Court. Ketanji Brown Jackson is exactly that: a radical, left-wing activist who would rubberstamp Biden’s disastrous agenda. By picking Jackson, Biden put far-left special interests ahead of defending Americans’ rights and liberties. The Republican National Committee will make sure voters know just how radical Jackson is and remember at the ballot box in November.”
Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) took issue with how Jackson was chosen in the first place, because on the campaign trail Biden promised to nominate a black woman to the Supreme Court, seemingly eager to fulfill a predetermined demographic quota, rather than to make the decision based on merit.
Appearing on Fox News, Cruz said, “What the President said is that only African American women are eligible for this slot, that 94% of Americans are ineligible. The way Biden ought to do it is to say ‘I’m going to look for the best justice,’ interview a lot of people, and if he happens to nominate a justice who was an African American woman, then great.”
The Republican National Committee has pledged to make voters aware of Brown Jackson’s more controversial rulings and that could prove decisive during confirmation hearings in the evenly divided U.S. Senate.
