The radical left has enjoyed political success in recent years through the clever use of identity politics.
For decades, leftists have enjoyed overwhelming support from women, black voters, and Hispanic voters, among other racial minorities.
But this “woke” television star just made a divisive comment that has black conservatives up in arms.
Many in the “woke” mob are a lot less tolerant than they would like you to believe
Leftists often claim to stand on the side of “tolerance” and “acceptance,” especially when it comes to race, gender, and LGBT issues.
However, countless examples have emerged of leftists attacking individuals in these allegedly beleaguered minorities.
Their “social justice” crime?
They simply refused to agree with the Left’s radical political agenda.
Doctor Who star David Tennant, who also starred in hit films and shows up as Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, recently went on an unhinged rant while accepting an award at the British LGBT Awards.
Tennant received this award for being a so-called “ally” of transgendered people and the so-called “trans community.”
During his acceptance speech, Tennant did not hold back, telling the audience, “If I’m honest, I’m a little depressed by the fact that acknowledging that everyone has the right to be who they want to be and live their life how they want to live it as long as they’re not hurting anyone else should merit any kind of special award or special mention, because it’s common sense, isn’t it?”
The British television star then took aim at British Secretary of State for Business and Trade Kemi Badenoch.
Badenoch is a proud member of the British Conservative Party and has sided with common-sense measures such as banning sex change operations for minors.
Many on the Left have targeted Badenoch, a black woman, calling her repulsive names as well as “homophobic” and “transphobic.”
Tennant similarly attacked Badenoch, telling the crowd of LGBT fanatics, “It is human decency. We shouldn’t live in a world where that is worth remarking on. However, until we wake up and Kemi Badenoch doesn’t exist any more – I don’t wish ill of her, I just wish her to shut up… whilst we do live in this world, I am honoured to receive this [award].”
Soon after making these shocking and arguably racist remarks, Badenoch clapped back with “A rich, lefty, white male celebrity so blinded by ideology he can’t see the optics of attacking the only black woman in government by calling publicly for my existence to end.”
“Tennant is one of Labour’s celebrity supporters. This is an early example of what life will be like if they win,” the outraged black conservative added.
The radical Left has no tolerance for anybody who dares to defy their radical agenda
Those on the Left often claim that they stand on the side of “anti-racism” and acceptance.
However, every time somebody dares to push back against their radical agenda, all bets are off.
David Tennant put the intolerance that exists on the Left on full display in his speech to LGBT advocates.
This has the radical Left furious.
The general public opposes their far-left policies.
Which means they can’t afford any sliver of their coalition to jump ship and vote against them.
But it may already be too late for Leftists as more and more pieces of their coalition continue to flee.
