Democrats have adopted truly disturbing ideas.
But some members of the party have their limits.
And one Democrat politician had a mic-drop moment that left her colleagues stunned.
Democrats in California have taken full advantage of their supermajority in the state legislature.
No radical proposal is completely off-limits.
And sometimes the Democrats go too far, even for members of their own party.
Democrat fed up
State Senator Susan Talamantes Eggman implored her colleagues to vote for a bill that would increase the punishment for people who solicit underage prostitutes.
Such legislation seems like it would be a slam dunk, but nothing is simple in California.
SB 1414 would increase the penalty for solicitation of a minor under 16 from up to one year in prison to a maximum of three years in prison.
A second offense would force perpetrators to register as sex offenders if they are more than ten years older than the minor, plus incur a $10,000 fine.
Eggman said during a legislative meeting, “A lot of these kids can be throwaway kids – they’re poor kids, they’re kids of color. . .But they shouldn’t have to live a life determined by what happens to them by others at a very young age and by having the Democratic Party of California say it’s okay. It’s not okay.”
Fools and laughing stocks
Eggman also said that Democrats would look like “fools” and “laughing stocks” if they did not turn back toward the “center” of American politics.
Democrats have embraced the radical fringe, particularly in strongholds like California.
She continued, “I’m leaving [in November], but the rest of you who are gonna be here for a while. Let’s get our stuff together and really start focusing on some of the important things. . .We talk about learning, and we talk about being safe. This is like at the core of it.”
“I am not arguing that we open the gates to flood our prisons with people, but I am arguing that we have a moral responsibility to say enough,” Eggman added. “We have given away enough on this area.”
Eggman is retiring after the current session, so she is free to speak her mind on the way out the door.
Eggman said, “As a progressive, proud member of this body for the last 12 years, I’m done. I’m done with us protecting people who would buy and abuse our children. . .I don’t want people buying little girls anymore, and I’m tired of saying it’s okay and that we have to protect the men who do it.”
HOLY SH*T!!! 🔥🔥🚨🚨

Radical leftists in the state have tried to lessen the penalty for criminal sex offenses.
For example, far-left State Senator Scott Wiener put forth a bill that lowered the penalty for knowingly transmitting HIV to a sexual partner.
That is the priority for legislators in California.
Residents are getting fed up with the radical policies and opting to leave for freer pastures.
In 2023, California Republican State Senator Scott Wilk put it best when he said, “I’m not gonna stay in this state because it’s just too oppressive, and I believe in freedom. And so I’m gonna move to America when I leave the legislature.”
