Life in big blue cities is becoming increasingly dicey.
Now, some young criminals are on the lam in the Big Apple.
And what happened to this NYC kindergartener in broad daylight will turn your stomach.
Back in 2020, crime in New York City was at a 20-year low.
That all changed when Black Lives Matter rioters erupted across the nation.
They left behind their destructive “defund the police” campaign.
The rising crime wave that followed almost immediately, proved so devastating it didn’t take long for the pro-crime crowd’s message to sour.
In only three years, the number of serious felonies committed in the city increase by 30,996.
Now after spiking crime, the city’s government is bragging about a miniscule decrease of 3.9% as of June this year.
However, the horror stories continue to pile up with innocent victims left suffering.
The latest horrific story came out of the Bronx—a notoriously rough area—where a five-year-old girl was slashed in the face with a knife.
According to the New York Post a group of teens were horsing around with a knife when one cut the little girl.
“The girl was walking with her mother on Third Avenue – near Walter Gladwin Park — around 3:10 p.m. when they passed a group of teens messing around at the corner of East Tremont Avenue, the sources said,” the Post reported. “During the horseplay, one teen accidentally dropped a knife on the ground.”
“As he picked up the knife, he somehow slashed the young girl on the side of the face,” the report continued.
The teens fled the scene.
The little girl was taken to the hospital where authorities said she was in stable condition.
Even five days after the incident there was still no news of arrests in the case.
This isn’t the first time a kindergartener was violently injured in the city.
Back in July another five-year-old girl was shot in the back, also in the Bronx.
In August a Brooklyn five-year-old boy and his three-year-old sister were hospitalize after a brutal hammer attack that left their mother dead.
They both face ongoing surgeries and rehabilitation efforts providing a picture of the true cost of pro-crime policies for the most vulnerable in big blue cities.
