Decades ago teens were known to plague neighborhoods with stunts involving rotten eggs and toilet paper.
But times have changed in some of the most horrific ways possible.
And what happened on this family’s front porch explains why Americans are fleeing blue states.
As technology becomes more ubiquitous and crime rates skyrocket, security cameras are popping up everywhere.
Unfortunately, video surveillance can’t do a thing when it comes to preventing crime in a culture where permissive District Attorneys have emboldened criminals by making it clear they’re unlikely to be held accountable for their actions.
Last year Seattle Police reported that violent crime in the nation’s 15th largest metro area was at a 15 year high.
Beacon guided the last thing you want showing up
Now a horrific clip from the front porch of a home in Seattle’s coveted Beacon Hill neighborhood is circulating online.
The up and coming section of Seattle had reportedly become known for great restaurants and a hot spot for development in the city.
Unfortunately, lately residents in the area have also become targets of teen criminals.
The Daily Mail reports that young thugs are responsible for a string of robberies in the area and the outlet got its hands on video and audio of the moment two of them cornered a man on a front porch.
Ambush!
The video shows the man—who may have been the homeowner—walking up to the home and attempting to enter when he was suddenly accosted by two masked young men.
Reportedly, one teen pointed a gun at the man while another used a taser on him.
“Give me everything you’ve got,” one assailant demanded.
At that point the man had been knocked back by the taser and the criminals stripped him of all valuables including his cell phone, wallet, car keys, a gold necklace, a watch, and even the rings he was wearing.
“Seattle police detectives are now hunting for the two men seen in the video, who say the robbery is part of a pattern of crime of masked black teens targeting Asian victims,” the Daily Mail reported.
“This stuff isn’t new, I’ve been robbed/assaulted getting off the bus multiple times, house broken in by people following me home thinking I have a lot of cash in a jacket somewhere,” a life-long Seattle resident who is Asian wrote in a comment online. “Once, someone cut part of my finger off to get a ring my grandmother gave me while two guys held me down.”
While horrific acts of violent crime may be nothing new inside a big city, since the 2020 riots things have been going downhill fast.
The news outlet reported that within the past six month seven percent of Seattle area residents have considered moving due to safety concerns.
If they act on that, the Seattle metro area could lose about 227,000 residents.
The fact that is even a possibility speaks loudly to the failure of Democrats running the city.
