You had to know there was something wrong in an area where Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) could get elected.

A stunning recent incident there will leave you wondering whether Omar’s part of the country can even be considered American anymore.

Because a big Jesus controversy has just erupted in Ilhan Omar’s backyard and it was all caught on camera.

Minnesota is supposed to be part of “America’s Heartland.”

But that wholesome image has been hijacked by radical leftists.

Now it seems the Bill of Rights is practically dead in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

The Mall of America is a 5.6 million square foot (129 acre) tourist trap.

80% of the mall’s visitors come from a handful of states including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Illinois, and Ohio.

Considering that it isn’t exactly a cosmopolitan high-brow destination—the mall features an indoor theme park taking up seven acres—you’d expect a family-friendly destination catering to a slightly conservative audience.

But apparently the retail giant’s owner managed to snag themselves a woke security team.

Anti-Christian bigotry on full display in Mall of America cop’s confrontation with shopper

One mall visitor was strolling through the retail space when he got stopped by a mall cop who demanded that he either remove his “Jesus Saves” t-shirt or leave the premises.

Ironically, even though Minnesota was the birthplace of the Marxist Black Lives Matter riots, their views only count if they are unhinged leftists.

A black man wearing a t-shirt that says “Jesus is the only way” with the popular “coexist” symbol crossed out on the back is apparently far too controversial.

One of the numerous security guards who showed up to surround the man explained that, “Jesus is associated with religion and it’s offending people.”

The obviously stunned shopper explained that he was literally merely shopping in his choice of clothing.

“I didn’t say anything though, I didn’t speak, I didn’t say anything, I just went to Macy’s,” he explained.

“I’m not preaching,” he added.

Instead of backing down, the overconfident mall cop repeated his shocking demand.

“Again, I’m giving you a couple of options: take the shirt off and you can go to Macy’s and you can do your shopping or you can leave the mall, okay?” he said. “Those are your only options right now.”

The man continued to protest his innocence and that he should be allowed to literally keep his shirt on his back as the lead mall cop in the incident got even hotter under the collar.

“If you want to shop here, you need to take that shirt off,” the security guard snapped.

When the shopper asked what was wrong with his shirt the mall cop started spewing nonsense about how wearing the t-shirt amounted to “religious soliciting” which isn’t allowed on the mall’s property.

Mall promoted 2022 “all ages” drag show

Of course, somehow the mall managed to not only host , but also promoted a drag show last year for “all ages” even though it claims to have a policy against “obscene language, obscene gestures or racial/religious/ethnic slurs that are likely to create a disturbance.”

So far, the shopper wearing the “Jesus Saves” shirt hasn’t been identified, but the mall’s treatment of him is likely to backfire on them big time.

According to local news outlet Alpha News, a group called the Bloomington Patriots is staging a protest at the mall on February 4—and everyone will be wearing “Jesus shirts.”

Apparently, the mall owners, who famously missed two $1.4 billion mortgage payments during the Covid-19 pandemic crisis, haven’t heard about the “go woke, go broke” principle yet.

But they’re about to get a serious education.
