The old saying that there is no such thing as bad publicity isn’t always true in the political realm.
One Democrat candidate in the Old Dominion state has already learned this lesson.
Now a new video is proving another female Virginia Democrat candidate to be totally shameless with one crazy act.
Virginia is the home of an important round of elections on Tuesday.
With Governor Glenn Youngkin (R) in power, the control of the state legislature is up for grabs.
A Republican sweep would have major ramifications on public policy and political handicappers mark many of the races as too close to call.
With so much on the line, it is perhaps surprising to see just how undisciplined some of the candidates in the state level races have been this election cycle.
The latest example of this comes from one Jessica Anderson, a Democrat candidate for Virginia’s House of Delegates.
Anderson has made a habit of posting videos on social media.
Most of them explain her reasons for running and her plans on what she will do if she is elected.
She’s also made plain the extent of her radicalism.
To that end, in some of her videos she joins forces with Danica Roem, the first trans member of the Virginia State House of Delegates.
The two of them have bantered about the “opportunity to give the Republican Party and their abortion restricting, book banning, voter suppressing, soft supremacy the double middle finger and say not this time, not on our watch.”
She’s not too yellow to make an embarrassment of herself
But Anderson took the weirdness to a whole new level in a recent post.
She filmed herself peeing in the snow and uploaded the video to TikTok.

In commenting on the post, The Virginia Project wrote, “New from the #JessicaAndersonCringeCollection: Yellow Snow: the world’s unsexiest pee tape.
Because it’s totally normal to record yourself narrating a urination experience like a complete psycho then post it to TikTok then run for state legislative office.”
While doing the deed, Anderson whispered, “Yeah, I’m peeing. Avoid the yellow snow.”
What is up with these AWFL Virginia Democrats?
Anderson is the second Virginia Democrat running for public office this election cycle to have found herself involved in a pee controversy.
Last month, Susanna Gibson, another Democrat candidate for the Virginia legislature was outed for performing sex acts on a streaming website where she sought tips from those watching the videos.
The Daily Mail reported that Gibson said, “Y’all can watch me pee if you tip me and some tokens – again, I’m raising money for a good cause.”
Virginia was a solidly Republican-leaning state at the presidential level for many decades through 2004.
Voting patterns then began to shift as hundreds of thousands of college-educated transplants moved into Washington, D.C.’s northern Virginia suburbs to fill jobs tied to the ever-expanding federal government.
That either of these candidates stands even the chance of being given the nod of approval by the voters is a testament to just how far left the Commonwealth of Virginia has lurched in the last several years.
After today’s elections we’ll see if blind ideology trumps sanity.
