Pennsylvania’s junior Senator has made a habit of making head-scratching statements with effective communication often eluding him.
And that’s when he is semi-coherent.
Now this must-see John Fetterman video has Pennsyvanians demanding an end to their state’s shame.
After months of leaving supporters guessing, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) finally announced that Joe Biden will be subject to an impeachment inquiry for what he calls “abuse of power, obstruction and corruption.”
House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) said of the Speaker’s plans, “Chairman Comer has proved the Biden family engaged in a disturbing pattern of corruption that included selling government access to foreign adversaries like China. I fully support Speaker McCarthy’s commitment to follow the facts wherever they lead and ensure no one, not even President Biden, is above the law.”
Predictably, Democrats howled, even though their reasoning for pursuing impeachment of former President Trump was based on far flimsier evidence.
Say what?
One of the most bizarre reactions to this news came from Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA).
While he was meandering through the halls of Congress he was asked about the inquiry by a reporter and said, mockingly as best as one can tell, “Oh my God, really? Oh my gosh, it’s devastating. Ooooooooh, don’t do it, please don’t do it.”

He then waddled away with an aide, clad in a shirt two sizes too big and a pair of shorts with a drawstring.
Evidently thinking he really put forth a zinger, he doubled down later, sharing the social media post with the video clip of the incident himself.

Reaction on social media was decidedly mixed, but many were less than enthusiastic about the Senator’s side gig of playing Mr. Funnyman.
One Twitter/X user wrote, “We have a compromised man leading our great nation in the oval office – a man whose family has taken tens of millions from our adversaries and this is the response?”
Another chimed in with, “This is a sitting US senator. Every Pennsylvanian should hang their heads in shame.
But hey – at least Fetterman was semi-coherent here, which is more than many would say of the collective action of the Keystone Staters who voted him into office last Fall.
Democrats not as confident in Biden these days
It’s difficult for leftists to be anything but smug these days but it appears that deep down there is genuine nervousness about their party’s political prospects in 2024.
Already op-eds are being written in outlets friendly to the Biden regime imploring Biden to abandon his run for reelection.
Indeed, the President’s own bumbling and apparent corruption has placed him in a worse polling position than he ever found himself preceding the 2020 election.
Fetterman may say “oooOoooooOooo” in a mocking tone, but storm clouds are on the horizon, and one never knows what future investigations might find.
Democrats may soon find themselves with ever more reason to be very, very afraid.
