Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has a knack for picking associates with radical tendencies.
But a new development takes the cake.
And one of AOC’s former staffers just landed her old boss in hot water after accepting a prestigious new job.
Rep. Ocasio-Cortez—one of the youngest members of Congress—bills herself as a Democratic Socialist.
But if mom’s old saying that you are who you hang out with holds true, the country is in a whole lot of trouble.
One of the Congresswoman’s former staffers just revealed her true radical roots by becoming a top boss in the New York State Communist Party.
To make matters worse, that staffer wasn’t merely opening mail in AOC’s office.
Before serving as a Congressional aide, Justine Medina was Rep. Ocasio’s key policy writer for her reelection campaign in 2020.
Like many committed Marxists, Medina seems to harbor a fair amount of political ambition.
In July 2020 Communist publication People’s World announced that Medina was the co-chair of the New York Young Communist League.

She also got elbow deep into the effort to create the Amazon Labor Union.
Now that the former Congressional staffer is on the Executive Committee of the New York State Communist Party, it’s drawing attention to the fact that she was openly a Marxist in her social circles well before Ocasio-Cortez hired her.
“[W]ell, I *am* a Communist, but work for AOC & helped start Queens DSA’s Electoral WG, so I def see utility in working on the Dem ballot line!” Medina tweeted in October 2020.
Incredibly, the fact that Communism has been responsible for the deaths of more than 100 million of the people over the years doesn’t seem to phase the young radical.
In fact, in social media posts she’s warned that the process of creating a Communist regime is “unkind” to those who “block progress.”
She then cheerfully added, “But communism is good and shouldn’t scare you.”
American taxpayers have every reason to be shaken to the core knowing their tax dollars have been spent paying the salary of a Communist who is apparently actively working to bring the chaos and misery of the deadliest and most oppressive form of government in the history of the world to America.
And apparently, she’s getting to work in the state with the biggest concentrated population center in the nation.
