Entertainment celebrities live in fear of the “woke” mob.
Public perception drives so much of what they do.
But the Cancel Mob is coming for this Hollywood couple and for once many on both sides of the political divide might support it.
Hollywood stars Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis were slammed for one shocking statement they wrote
The Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis wrote letters in support of their friend and That ‘70s Show co-star Danny Masterson, who was recently convicted on two counts of rape.
Kutcher and Kunis wrote letters as character witnesses to the judge asking for leniency.
Kutcher wrote, “He’s an extraordinarily honest and intentional human being. Over a 25 year relationship I don’t ever recall him lying to me. He’s taught me about being direct and confronting issues in life and relationships head-on, resolving them, and moving forward. Danny is a person that is consistently there for you when you need him. Not only is he a good friend to me I’ve witnessed him be a good friend to others and the kind of brother others would be lucky to have.”
Kunis echoed her husband’s sentiments, writing, “Danny Masterson’s warmth, humor, and positive outlook on life have been a driving force in shaping my character and the way I approach life’s challenges…His dedication to avoiding all substances has inspired not only me but also countless others in our circle…Danny’s steadfastness in promoting a drug-free lifestyle has been a guiding light in my journey through the entertainment world and has helped me prioritize my well-being and focus on making responsible choices…His unwavering commitment to being an exceptional older brother figure to me has had a transformative impact on my life, instilling in me a sense of self-belief and encouraging me to aim for greatness, but all while maintaining a sense of humility…His dedication to leading a drug-free life and the genuine care he extends to others make him an outstanding role model and friend.”
Needless to say, in Hollywood’s #MeToo environment, the couple’s letters did not go over well.
Many pointed out that they spoke on behalf of a convicted rapist while Kutcher is the co-founder of a nonprofit organization fighting sex trafficking.
Kutcher and Kunis’ huge miscalculation after their letters came to light
Amid the backlash, Kutcher and Kunis explained their actions in a video that looked and sounded rehearsed.

One of Masterson’s victims watched the video and sent a response through independent journalist Yashar Ali.
She wrote, “This video was incredibly insulting and hurtful. My hope is that they learn radical accountability and the importance of self-education to learn when to keep their privilege in check—especially Ashton, who claims to work with victims of sex crimes. And as to Mila, I can only think of ‘Times Up.’”
Time’s Up is the women’s victim advocacy group that fell apart after the group failed support Joe Biden rape accuser Tara Reade.
The entire episode is a terrible look for Kutcher and Kunis.
