One shoplifter learns the hard way why you should consider a coke bottle as a lethal weapon.

Some people call it karma while others call it retribution.
But either way, when you fool around you find out.
At least that’s the way it used to be.
Back in the day there if there was a bully in school, sooner or later someone would snap and teach the bully a lesson.
But in today’s day and age the victims become the ones punished if they stand up to the bully.
And retribution used to be prevalent in our community.
A couple Generations ago criminals were treated with the same level of violence and veracity that they inflicted on a community.
Oftentimes the police had to worry about getting to a criminal before the community because the men of town would take matters into their own hands.
Because of this street justice, less people committed crimes because they didn’t want to face the wrath of what happened if they did target a community.
But those days are long gone.
Just cut on the news and you’ll see a litany of crimes committed on a street near you.
And big cities are facing the some of the largest influx in crime our nation has ever seen.
Cities like San Francisco and New York City are being ravaged by rioters and looters who just walk into stores and steal in plain sight.
These criminals know that they will not be prosecuted and they have nothing to fear.
When it’s all said and done, they have a couple thousand dollars of product and no one’s coming after them.
Well one criminal found out the hard way that not everyone is still playing by the rules of letting crime run the streets.
And to make matters worse the dude got taken down by a soda bottle.

No one is really sure the origins of this video but the end result is worth a watch.
The video starts out with a security guard trying to stop a shoplifter with a cart from leaving the store.
But the security guards efforts are failing as the criminal is just a few steps away from escaping out the door.
And right when the shoplifter thought he was about to get out with his loot, he got smacked right in the temple with a two-liter flying diet coke bottle.
A worker in the store decided to take matters into his own hands and ended up taking down the criminal by himself with nothing more than a soda bottle.

Now that’s epic for the employee and embarrassing for the criminal.
Can you imagine going to jail and telling other inmates that you ended up behind bars because of a soda bottle?
