As part of the socialist “Squad” in Congress, Rep. Cori Bush has been trying her luck for some time.
But the Democrat just went too far.
And Republicans are grabbing their popcorn after Rep. Cori Bush made this career-ending ending mistake.
Members of the fringe Left have been tolerated for far longer than they should have been in Congress.
Now their outrageous behavior is beginning to catch up with them.
In the weeks after terrorist organization Hamas rained fire down on participants at an Israeli music festival, Rep. Cori Bush and Rep. Ilhan Omar made their anti-Israel sentiment abundantly clear.
Both are now facing serious primary election threats that could end their careers.
The latest entrant into the race is St. Louis County prosecutor Wesley Bell who has decided to give up trying to take out Republican Senator Josh Hawley in favor of defeating Bush in the Democrat Primary.
“I think we have to stand with our allies, and Israel has always been an ally,” Bell said.
“As a country, we have to be reliable partners. We have to stand by our fellow democracies, and we have to stand against terrorism,” Bell announced. “Hamas is a terrorist organization and I will not waver in my support for Israel.”
Bush practically painted a target on her back when she became one of only nine Representatives who refused to approve a measure condemning Hamas for its initial attack on Israel which resulted in the deaths of 1,200 people.
When war broke out in the Gaza strip after the music festival massacre, Bush even went as far as accusing Israel of attempting to practice “ethnic cleansing.”
Omar could also be facing a serious threat from a well-funded opponent in the form of former Minneapolis city councilman Don Samuels.
Well-heeled donors are already lining up in hopes of cleaning the House during the next election cycle.
The New York Post has reported the Left-leaning group “Democratic Majority for Israel” is firing away a six-figure ad targeting pro-Hamas ringleader Rep. Rashida Tlaib for her defense of the terrorist group.
