Democrats are moving closer and closer to the radical fringe.
Policies once thought unthinkable are now central planks of the party.
And parents in Gavin Newsom’s state were furious over one ruling.
Democrats believe that public schools better know how to raise children than their own parents.
Former Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe lost his race to Republican newcomer Glenn Youngkin in large part because he said parents should not be involved in educating their kids.
In California, the problem is far worse.
Democrats in the state believe that parents do not have the right to be notified if their children are identifying as the opposite gender in school.
Judge reverses school district policy
Chino Valley Unified School District issued a policy that parents must be informed, but a judge just struck down the policy and said that parents do not have the right to know what’s going on with their own kids.
Judge Thomas Garza claimed that Chino Valley’s policy was “too broad, too general” and lacked a “clear purpose or reference of parental support and involvement.”
Garza did however concede, “There will be parents who won’t take kindly to these discussions.”
Attorney Anthony P. De Marco, who represented the school district, correctly argued that schools “can’t figure out if there’s harm at home if we’re not talking to parents.”
But California Democrats are all in at keeping parents in the dark about their own children.
California Deputy Attorney General Delbert Tran that the school policy is forcing kids to go “underground” for fear of being “outed.”
The Left always claim care for others in order to mask what they want to do.
Republicans in the state are gearing up for a lengthy court battle.
Assemblyman Bill Essayli explained, “We’ve said from the beginning this is a fight we want to have, and we intend to take it to the Supreme Court…[Parents are] not even given the opportunity to support their kids…If parents are a threat to their kids, we also need to know that.”
Democrat AG weighs in
California Attorney General Rob Bonta was forceful in his support for keeping parents uninformed about their children’s seminal life decisions.
Bonta said, “I refuse to stand by and allow Chino Valley or any district board of education to put our children at risk or infringe upon their rights, especially not one of our most vulnerable at-risk groups…Across the country and in our own backyard, the LGBTQ+ community is under attack, and transgender and gender-nonconforming students are on the front lines.”
Parents in California need to wake up.
The authoritarian states always believe that they have the right to mold your children.
