Democrat leaders are failing their cities.
And residents are beginning to realize the consequences.
Now one shocking train video proves a Democrat-run city has descended into hell.
New York City is currently in a state of retrogression.
The city hit its nadir in the 1970s, and the succeeding two decades were defined by debauchery, squalor, and crime.
X-rated films were openly displayed and advertised in Times Square.
People were afraid to ride the subway at night, and New Yorkers often ran home from work so as not to get mugged.
Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani cleaned up the city in the 1990s, and Mayor Michael Bloomberg essentially rode the wave.
New York became a safe city, and Central Park was transformed from a den of thieves to a tourist attraction.
However, thanks to years of leftist governance, New York is reverting back to Gotham of the ‘70s and ‘80s.
And one raunchy scene on the subway exemplified that trend.
A twerking party with a Slip ‘N Slide broke out in the middle of a train ride.
The New York Post reported that “this flash twerk party on a New York City subway was off the rails. Straphangers struggled to hold onto their morals as a collection of voluptuous vixens dressed in skimpy black bikinis jumped, gyrated and jiggled during a makeshift pool party hosted inside an L train car. ‘WTF is going on here?,’ questioned a stunned Twitter spectator beneath a viral clip of the twerking ladies, offering up lap dances and shots of liquor to subway passengers during a recent rush hour commute…Unsurprisingly, outraged online onlookers couldn’t believe their eyes. ‘The most chaotic train ride ever,’ tweeted a disapproving digital viewer alongside a separate clip of the subterranean bash.”

Needless to say, city officials were not amused.
MTA comms director Tim Minton said, “This appears to be a Hollywood concoction or a dopey stunt…New Yorkers don’t appreciate rides being delayed when trains get taken out of service because selfish grownups came to trend.”
However, this is what happens when lawlessness is allowed.
People will continue to push the envelope until the line of acceptable behavior moves.
Mayor Eric Adams admitted on his first day on the job that he was afraid to take the train into work.
If he’s afraid, the average New Yorker probably is, too.
And flash twerk parties are not going to help the city’s reputation.
