Lewis was supposedly defending a friend when he was stomped in a cowardly attack.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said in a statement, “This investigation is being led by the LVMPD Homicide Section…The investigation indicates the victim was involved in a physical altercation with approximately 15 individuals prior to officers arrival…This is an ongoing investigation, and we are actively working on identifying the individuals involved.”
Despite the horrific murder of his son, Lewis’s father was conciliatory.
The senior Lewis told reporters, “Violence just begets more violence and these children don’t even know what they’re doing half the time…I hope there’s a way that can find forgiveness in their heart and find a way to be able to come to terms with what they’ve done…I just love my children with all my heart, and it’s just unimaginable that we could ever come to this point…I think there’s just a failure of all of humanity to recognize that we need to be teaching our youth how to coexist.”
Pro-crime policies have contributed to upticks in violence in several major cities.

Violent “flash mobs” have also sprung up around the country from Los Angeles to Chicago.
Pro-crime policies and a broken culture have led to violent and aimless children causing havoc.
