One Governor just instituted a shocking COVID executive order

The COVID regime will stop at nothing to keep the forever-pandemic going.

Americans are anxious to get back to their lives, but public officials will not let them.

And one Governor just instituted a shocking COVID executive order.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul is picking up where her predecessor left off in terms of being terrible on COVID.

Hochul assumed office after Andrew Cuomo was forced to resign amid several scandals including one where he covered up nursing home deaths as a result of his decision to put COVID-positive patients back in those facilities.

Now Hochul is issuing an executive order to put a halt on elective and “nonessential” surgeries.

Hochul said in a statement:

“We’ve taken extraordinary action to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and combat this pandemic. However, we continue to see warning signs of spikes this upcoming winter, and while the new Omicron variant has yet to be detected in New York State, it’s coming . . . In preparation, I am announcing urgent steps today to expand hospital capacity and help ensure our hospital systems can tackle any challenges posed by the pandemic as we head into the winter months. The vaccine remains one of our greatest weapons in fighting the pandemic, and I encourage every New Yorker to get vaccinated, and get the booster if you’re fully vaccinated.”

The Omicron variant is the new boogeyman being used by the COVID regime to perpetuate the fear and panic that has allowed it to amass emergency powers.

Also, nonessential surgeries can turn out to be serious issues if untreated for too long.

Dr. Benjamin Domb, an orthopedic surgeon, shared an anecdote that illustrates the cost of putting off surgeries.

Domb said:

“I performed surgery on a vibrant, 28-year-old young man named Jeffrey who had fully torn his hamstring tendon. A terrific former high school soccer player who still loves to play a variety of sports, Jeffrey was sidelined from all physical activity due to his injury. In the midst of this public health crisis, it took six weeks for him to get his MRI scan showing a significant tear, and longer yet to get referred to my care. If his surgery were delayed any further, his tendon tear would have become irreparable, and he would have suffered lifelong weakness and chronic pain.”

Patients are also putting off screenings for cancer and heart disease as a result of the monomaniacal obsession with all things COVID-related.
