Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) managed to mumble his way into a U.S. Senate seat in the 2020 Midterms.
Given the fact that there are real questions about the man’s comprehension and coherence, his election wasn’t the most shining moment ever bestowed upon the rest of the country by Pennsylvania voters.
And now a new video of John and Gisele Fetterman just ripped the scab off the still fresh wounds.
Newly-elected Democrat Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) has forged an interesting path over the past several months.
After suffering from a stroke over a year ago, Fetterman’s Democrat handlers—and surely his spotlight-hungry wife Gisele—colluded with the national media to keep the seriousness of his health away from the public.
When NBC Correspondent Dasha Burns committed a random act of journalism and let the cat out of the bag, saying that Fetterman had trouble understanding small talk and interview questions, the true nature of Fetterman’s impairment could no longer be contained.
This all led to a disastrous debate performance by Fetterman in October, after which he was largely shielded once again from questions.
Painful moment for Fetterman with Kamala Harris, wife Gisele and the couple’s children
But now, a new video from Fetterman’s swearing-in with Vice President Kamala Harris suggests that the Senator hasn’t markedly recovered since that infamous debate debacle.
The first thing you’ll notice is that Fetterman doesn’t speak and seems to only get his message across by nodding and making faces.
Kamala Harris and Gisele Fetterman take up the slack and do all the talking, and when his children appear for a family photo, Fetterman doesn’t even acknowledge their presence.
When the photographer asks him to put his hands down by his side, he doesn’t seem to understand what’s going on.
Back during the campaign season, Fetterman refused to release his medical records.
When the heat got to be too much, he eventually released a note purportedly clearing him to serve as a Senator from his doctor.
It was later learned that his doctor was a major donor to multiple high-profile Democrat candidates.
Fetterman hasn’t conducted a single interview since he was elected and that only serves to keep the questions coming about his ability (or lack thereof) to adequately perform his duties as Senator.
If John Fetterman can’t be counted on to answer or even understand questions from a largely friendly press, after he skipped out on work routinely during his time as Mayor of Braddock before his stroke, can he really be counted on to make decisions on budgets or declaring war?
In the end, it has become clear that in electing Fetterman, Pennsylvanians valued partisanship above all else, even basic competence.
And the consequences now reach far beyond the Keystone State.
