Nancy Pelosi’s home state humiliation is complete as a “Red Wave” train finally washed up on her doorstep

The “Red Wave” largely underwhelmed on Election Day for Republicans.

But that doesn’t mean everything came up roses for the Democrats.

Now Nancy Pelosi’s home state humiliation is complete as a “Red Wave” train finally washed up on her doorstep.

Republicans just scored key victories that left Democrats pulling out their hair

Republicans did not take back control of the Senate and they only won the House by a slim margin, but they pulled off some key victories.

For example, Republicans did relatively well in New York State and California, winning several tossups in the deep blue states.

The wins in those two states allowed the Republicans to win back the House and end Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) reign as Speaker.

AM 970 The Answer reported that “two threatened U.S. House Republicans in California triumphed over Democratic challengers Monday, helping move the GOP…[into] control of the chamber while a string of congressional races in the state remained in play. In a bitter fight southeast of Los Angeles, Republican Rep. Michelle Steel defeated Democrat Jay Chen in a district that was specifically drawn to give Asian Americans, who comprise the largest group in the district, a stronger voice on Capitol Hill. It includes the nation’s largest Vietnamese community. East of Los Angeles, Republican Rep. Ken Calvert notched a win over Democrat Will Rollins. With 80% of the votes tallied, Calvert, the longest serving Republican in the California congressional delegation, established a nearly 5,500-vote edge in the contest.”

Even though Democrats enjoy a supermajority in the California legislature, Republicans have not given up entirely.

CA GOP adapted to flip longtime SoCal Republican stronghold back in 2020 and furthered gains in 2022

After witnessing Democrats flip all of Orange County blue in 2018 with ballot harvesting, Republicans employed the same tactic and flipped Orange County back in 2020.

Republican Young Kim—who was announced as the winner in 2018, only to lose after over a week of ballot drop-offs—won in 2020, and held onto her seat this cycle.

Republicans are holding the line in California, and moderates may be slowly waking up.

The GOP may have a tough time winning statewide, but liberals and moderates are clearly getting fed up with Democrat leadership.

Communist sympathizer Karen Bass is in a death struggle for mayor of Los Angeles against Rick Caruso, who was a Republican five minutes ago before switching to the Democrat Party to make himself more palatable in the city.

Far-Left Congresswoman Katie Porter, considered a rising star within the Democrat Party, is also in a dogfight to hold onto her seat.

It turns out that radical wokeness is not universally popular, not even in California.
