Muriel Bowser’s jaw hit the floor after reading this devastating report

America’s urban centers are in a state of rapid decline, especially those that suffer under Democrat control.

Out-of-control crime, poor sanitation, and rampant corruption plague many cities across the nation, although some are worse than others.

And now Muriel Bowser’s jaw has hit the floor after reading this devastating report.

The Nation’s Capital has become a capital for crime and poverty

Under the George W. Bush and Barack Obama presidencies, the size and scope of the federal government ballooned.

As a result, Washington D.C., and the communities that surround it ballooned in size.

Washington, D.C. is one of the East Coast’s largest cities, but in recent years, D.C. has earned a bad reputation for its horrific traffic jams, skyrocketing crime, and high poverty rates.

In fact, a recent study found that Washington, D.C. is the most undesirable place to live in across the entire nation.

More specifically, Home Bay, a real-estate education platform that collaborates with Allied Van Lines (one of the world’s largest moving companies) released a poll, showing that D.C. is the most undesirable place to live.

The factors that determined a city’s desirability in this poll include low crime rate, affordable homes, and a low cost of living.

Washington, D.C. has notoriously high crime, extremely expensive housing, and a high cost of living, among other plagues.

The poll similarly found that an astonishing amount of individuals fled the city in 2022, blaming poor conditions, as well as an election cycle that can cause transiency.

If you live in Washington, D.C., or have visited anytime recently, then you know firsthand just how bad things have gotten in the nation’s capital.

Not only has the entire northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. area become overwhelmed with congestion, but crime has gotten out of hand.

Shootings, robberies, and other assaults are part of daily life in Washington, D.C.

Many believe these plagues to only get worse, as Washington, D.C. continues to elect radical Democrats to run their city, such as extremely far-left mayor Muriel Bowser.

Many Democrat-controlled cities have become inhospitable hellholes

Whether it is San Francisco, New York City, or Washington, D.C., many places that elect radical Democrats are paying the price.

Out-of-control crime plagues, most American cities, and rampant (and often tolerated) illegal drug use only throws fuel onto these fires.

Additionally, many of these cities are poorly managed, with corruption being a part of daily life in the operations of these cities.

As a result, taxpayer dollars are squandered, and the problems that plague these cities only continue to get worse.
