Hollywood celebrities relentlessly push political messaging.
But rarely do they stick their necks out in a way that actually makes waves.
That’s why Katy Perry left her Democrat Hollywood pals gasping for air with one jaw-dropping revelation.
Los Angeles has been turned into a hellhole thanks to pro-crime policies.
Homelessness, once confined only to Skid Row downtown, has spread all over the city.
Almost every single underpass in Los Angeles looks like a shantytown.
Crime has gotten so out of control that even liberals in Beverly Hills are buying guns to protect themselves.
What’s also shocking is that several entertainment celebrities have come out in support of mayoral candidate Rick Caruso, who’s only been a Democrat for approximately ten minutes.
Caruso, who supported Donald Trump in 2016, had to switch his party affiliation to Democrat to have any chance at getting elected in deep-blue Los Angeles.
And the party switch allowed him to score major celebrity endorsements.
Katy Perry went all-in for Trump-supporting LA mayoral candidate
One of them was pop megastar Katy Perry, who messaged her 178 million fans on Instagram, “I am voting for a myriad of reasons (see the news) but in particular because Los Angeles is a hot mess [at the moment].”

Caruso also got a jaw-dropping endorsement from actor Chris Pratt.
Many have hypothesized that Pratt is a Republican because of his Christian faith, patriotism, and support for the military, and he did not disabuse that notion when he publicly endorsed Caruso.
He wrote on his Instagram page, “I’ve lived in LA for over 20 years. It’s been great to me. In that time I’ve seen what many residents here have seen, the city’s gradual decline into pain and utter disarray. If you live here, you know exactly what I’m talking about. I don’t normally support political candidates. But in this election, there’s too much to lose. If you’re an LA voter, I urge you to vote for @rickcarusola. He’s a builder. He knows how to get s**t done. He’s the guy for our city. Rick Caruso for LA Mayor.”
Actress and singer Katharine McPhee also endorsed Caruso for mayor.
Fox News reported that McPhee blames “woke” voters for soaring crime in Beverly Hills.
The American Idol alum is exasperated at the “sad state” of Los Angeles, saying on her Instagram story prior to the election that “I blame every single one of you woke voters.”
The singer said it’s gotten so bad she admitted she will no longer wear jewelry that’s visible on her wrists and fingers, when going out in Los Angeles.
“Seniors getting beat up while walking. Keep voting for this. What a sad state this city is in.” She added, resharing an article about an elderly man being “jumped,” “mugged and beaten up,” and admitting “This is literally my worry and thought every time I go out now. We need @rickcarusola’…What’s this world coming to?”
Rapper Snoop Dogg was also among Caruso’s celebrity endorsements.
Far-Left policies have gotten so bad in Los Angeles that celebrities are openly voting and campaigning for a low-key Republican.
California’s voting process is third-world, so the winner of the race is still up in the air.
KTLA reports that the race was “just too close to call” but Caruso currently has the lead over Communist sympathizer and current Democrat Congresswoman Karen Bass, who resigned to run for LA Mayor.
