Violent crime ravages nearly every city and community across the nation.
However, in recent years this crime has become more common and more depraved than at any other time in recent memory.
And Karen Bass is hiding her head in shame after the unimaginable unfolds at an L.A. school.
Los Angeles’s crime wave has found its way into public school buildings
Ever since the death of George Floyd in 2020, crime has exploded in cities and communities all across the nation.
To make matters worse, the depravity and boldness of these crimes have also appeared to get worse, largely due to many Democrat-controlled parts of America refusing to apprehend dangerous criminals.
On Tuesday, parents, students, and facility were shocked to the core in central Los Angeles once it was revealed that a student was stabbed at the Widney Career Preparatory & Transition Center, formerly known as J.P. Widney High School.
The details of this horrifying attack are limited, however, police have revealed that the victim is receiving treatment at a local hospital. Their condition is unclear at this point.
As far as the suspect is concerned, the suspect has been identified and is in police custody.
Following the stabbing, concerned parent Lina Augustine spoke to LA’s ABC 7, saying, “It’s scary. We want our students to be safe. For something like that to happen on the second day, it’s really scary. We don’t know what to think anymore.”
This stabbing comes just days after a massive smash-and-grab robbery occurred in Los Angeles, most perpetrated by what appears to be young adults and teenagers.
Although crimes perpetrated by young people are destroying the once great city of Los Angeles, LA Mayor Karen Bass has not commented on either the stabbing or the recent strings of mass looting.
Law-abiding citizens pay the price for out-of-control crime
In 2020, lawmakers in LA and California made it more difficult to hold criminals accountable for their actions.
Instead of prioritizing the safety of law-abiding citizens, lawmakers in California instead opted to bow down to the “woke” mob who demanded a number of pro-crime policies in the name of social justice.
Three years later, nobody has benefited from these policies, and instead, law-abiding citizens are afraid to go to work, school, or shop due to LA’s massive crime problem.
Both California Governor Gavin Newsom and LA Mayor Karen Bass have not made any meaningful reforms to get a hold on crime, and whenever a horrific crime occurs under their watch, they often hide from media attention.
