Democrats have a serious crime problem.
Blue jurisdictions around the country are grappling with public safety issues.
But John Fetterman hasn’t said one word about this horrific crime.
Pennsylvania Democrats like Senator John Fetterman and their media allies have been very careful while discussing the manhunt for prison escapee Danelo Cavalcante.
He escaped from a prison outside of Philadelphia a month after being convicted of first-degree murder.
Cavalcante stabbed his ex-girlfriend 38 times in front of her small children.
The one detail that the press has danced around is the fact that Cavalcante is an illegal alien originally from Brazil.
He was arrested in Virginia attempting to flee to Mexico.
Key missing detail
The so-called mainstream media has covered the manhunt extensively, but somehow failed to mention his immigration status.
The Media Research Center reported that between August 31st and September 12th, ABC, CBS, and NBC “spent a total of 114 minutes and 25 seconds on the story (ABC: 47 minutes, 34 seconds; NBC: 42 minutes, 5 seconds; CBS: 24 minutes, 51 seconds). Despite dancing around the subject constantly, not a single analyst, anchor, or correspondent would admit that the star of their fevered manhunt story was an illegal alien (or ‘undocumented,’ or a ‘migrant,’ or an ‘asylum seeker’).”
The closest the networks got was mentioning that he was a native of Brazil and spoke Portuguese.
Cavalcante was finally apprehended after weeks on the lam, and officials and the media still failed to mention that he should not have been in the country in the first place.
Support finishing the border wall now
Pennsylvania State Senator Katie Muth wrote on social media, “Today, Danelo Cavalcante will be placed back behind bars for the rest of his life. I also want to remember the victim, Deborah Brandão, whose family has been terrorized all over again over the past few weeks…No amount of justice will bring Deborah back to her family, but today at least they can sleep a little easier knowing that Cavalcante cannot hurt anyone else.”
Cavalcante was also wanted for a 2017 homicide in Brazil.
His immigration status has been obscured by the press because Joe Biden’s migrant crisis has bled into blue cities, and mayors have been pushed to their breaking point.
New York Mayor Eric Adams even said that the migrant crisis would “destroy” the city.
Democrats have pushed for open borders policies, but do not want to face the ramifications of their own ideology.
