New York’s Democrat Governor Kathy Hochul is locked in a tight re-election race that she could lose.

That could be a guarantee if a disturbing new video spreads wider.

So it’s no surprise Hochul hasn’t uttered a peep about this jaw-dropping attack that was caught on video.

As a direct result of Democrat control, America is more dangerous than at any other time in recent memory.

This is especially true in blue states and Democrat-controlled areas as was made painfully obvious at Proctor High School in Utica, New York where a student’s brazen stabbing of a classmate last week was caught on video.

The disturbing video shows a 17 year old student ambushing an 18 year old classmate in the hallway and stabbing him multiple times.

Fortunately, local CBS affiliate WKTV reported, the victim sustained non-life threatening injuries, and is expected to fully recover over time.

Charged with mere “attempted assault”

The suspect is now facing attempted assault and criminal possession of a weapon charges.

The video clearly showed him stabbing the victim, so attempted murder would be a more appropriate or at least actual assault.

Meanwhile, Democrat Governor Kathy Hochul – who may soon be former Governor – has been mum on the vicious attack.

She definitely does not want more people hearing about it before Election Day.

Nevertheless, Proctor High School is launching an investigation as to how the knife made it to the school considering all students have to enter through metal detectors before entering the school.

The Superintendent of Utica Public Schools issued a statement saying “We’re looking at the metal detecting systems themselves, we’re looking at the calibration, the police are interviewing the assailant and trying to get information from him on how the weapon was brought into the school.”

The policies of New York’s pro-crime politicians will inevitably result in this young criminal getting a slap on the wrist, opening the door for him to commit a life of crime.

For stabbing his classmate like that in the middle of the school day, he should go to jail for a long time.

Why isn’t Kathy Hochul calling this a hate crime or charging the victim?

Meanwhile, many suspect that had the circumstances been slightly different there’d be hate crime charges.

As the video shows, the attacker was black and the victim was an Asian young man.

But many suspect that were the circumstances slightly different there’d be heavy charges and public outrage from politicians like Hochul.

Such as when Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged a bodega clerk earlier this year with murder.

In that case video showed the clerk clearly acted in self defense but had to post a $50,000 bond before charges were eventually dropped following public outrage.

New York needs to completely rethink the way they are approaching crime and defense, or else more people will be victimized like that bodega clerk and the young man in this attack.

But as long as Democrats are calling the shots, it’s unlikely that will happen.
