Hillary resurfaces with a crazy explanation for Democrats’ unpopularity

She may fancy herself an “elder stateswoman” but is there a Democrat who could possibly be more out of touch than Hillary Rodham Clinton?

This is a woman who very nearly embraced the entitled, “Because it’s her turn” as a campaign slogan and rallying cry before eventually settling on, “I’m with her.”

Now the former First Lady who was delivered a U.S. Senate seat on a silver platter after carpetbagging into a blue state is back with a crazy explanation for Democrats’ unpopularity.

After losing to Barack Obama, very nearly to Bernie Sanders through corrupt party maneuverings, and then Donald Trump, She Who Will Not Go Away made an appearance on Meet The Press over the weekend to talk about Democrats’ chances in the upcoming midterm elections.

Mrs. Clinton thinks the Biden administration is doing a smashing job and says, “I’m not quite sure what the disconnect is between the accomplishments of the administration and this Congress and the understanding of what’s been done and the impact it will have on the American public and some of the polling and the ongoing hand-wringing.”

Of course, inflation being the highest since 1982, gasoline prices approaching $5 per gallon, shortages in grocery stores, hardware stores, and the like could all be viable explanations – but those are simple concerns for the little people.

There’s also the not insignificant fact that Democrats have sided with teachers’ unions in their quest to mask forever where they aren’t pushing for years of distance learning and then, when parents complained, told them to sit down and shut up, and this is before we even get to concerns over the curriculum.

Oh, and the border is being overrun by illegal migrants and Biden is flying them to be resettled in swing states in the dead of night.

All of these facts might be reasonable explanations for why the President’s approval rating hovers (depending on the polling outfit) between the mid 30s and low 40s – but they somehow elude the smartest person to ever run for the Presidency.

Clinton continued, saying, “There is a lot of good accomplishments to be putting up on the board and the Democrats, in office and out, need to be doing a better job of making the case and frankly standing up to the other side with their craziness.”

The problem (isn’t it always, according to the Left?) is once again . . . messaging!

Shame on all of us for believing our lying eyes.

The upshot for Republicans, conservatives, and middle-of-the-road Normies is that Hillary Clinton’s political antenna is tuned just as well as it was when she blew off campaigning in Wisconsin for a week before the 2016 Presidential Election.

For the good of the country, let’s hope she keeps right on talking.
