Hillary Clinton is getting a taste of present-day “woke” higher ed.
The failed Presidential candidate will be teaching hysterical leftists at Columbia University.
But Clinton’s alma mater made one announcement that left her in disbelief.
Before Hillary Rodham went to Yale Law and met Bill Clinton and set America on a bad trajectory, she was an alumna of Wellesley College, an all-girls school in the Boston suburbs.
And Wellesley, like all other “woke” institutions, has bent the knee to the radical gender theorists.
Wellesley began admitting biological males who identified as women.
But now the school has made the decision to admit biological females who identify as men, which completely undercuts the “trans women are women” and “trans men are men” arguments.
A thoroughly left-wing conundrum
If trans men are men, then they have no place at a women’s college.
Of course, nobody believes that biological females pretending to be males are equivalent to men, but the “woke” narrative must be defended.
Wellesley student body President Alexandra Brooks told the New York Times, “We’re just asking the administration to put on paper what’s already true of the student body…Trans men go to Wellesley, nonbinary people go to Wellesley, and they kind of always have.”
So trans men, trans women, and nonbinary people are all welcome at Wellesley.
That means biological males who identify as men are the only group that are excluded.
Wellesley has a massive Title IX lawsuit on its hands.
Elizabeth Um, President of a Wellesley pro-Life group, which has to be one of the most vilified organizations on campus, said, “If you don’t think you can fit in here, then you have your pick of thousands of other coed colleges in the country or the world…We’re a women’s college. That’s the core identity of the school, and we can’t start watering that down.”
Oh, but they can start “watering that down” because womanhood is now a meaningless term.
As Matt Walsh’s documentary What Is a Women? details, the postmodernists have destroyed the concept of gender, and compliant liberals—and even some conservatives—are simply going along with it.
College President Paula Johnson said of the new policy, “It’s important that all members of this community feel seen. Some transgender male and nonbinary students whose identities have evolved during their time here say they feel excluded by the College’s use of the words ‘women’ and ‘alumnae’ — and feel that their individual identities are not embraced…At the same time, many students who are committed to Wellesley’s mission as a women’s college and who identify as women have been publicly criticized for their view and have felt pressured to describe Wellesley as a historically women’s college.”
These types of “woke” sandtraps are what happen when radicals take over.
