After years of city officials allowing criminals to do as they please without repercussions, Los Angeles has descended into chaos.
On a daily basis, millions of Californians risk their lives by simply going to work, the gym, or their own favorite food truck.
But George Gascón is as quiet as a mouse after this horrifying homeless sword attack.
After decades of Democrat control, California has turned into a hub of homelessness, crime, and lawlessness.
And just last Sunday, residents of Riverside, California were horrified after hearing about a particularly gruesome attack involving two homeless people.
According to local police, at around 10:30 P.M., a severed hand was found on a sidewalk in Riverside.
Shortly after this gruesome discovery, authorities discovered that the handless victim was receiving treatment at a nearby hospital.
An “ongoing dispute” between two homeless men led one of them severing the other’s hand with a sword
The victim is expected to live; however, he will have to go through life with only one hand.
Per the police, both the suspect and the victim are homeless, and a sword was used to cut the victim’s hand off.
A representative for the Riverside police told the press that “This assault may have stemmed from a recent and ongoing dispute both have been having with each other.”
This brutal attack underscores the ongoing homelessness crisis that is gripping California and other Democrat-controlled parts of America.
A deadly combination of soaring house prices and state-sponsored drug use has created a perfect storm for homelessness to flourish in the Golden State.
Instead of finding realistic ways to rehabilitate the millions of homeless people in California, Gavin Newsom and other leftist politicians are opting to facilitate their lifestyle by decriminalizing petty theft among other crimes.
Furthermore, many California cities offer needle exchange programs, among other drug programs, which only seem to encourage drug users to keep using.
As a result of these programs, nearly every street in major California cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco are lined with homeless camps.
Gavin Newsom is hell-bent on making California a bad place to live
Californians are leaving the Golden State in droves as a result of rising prices, increased crime, and skyrocketing homelessness.
According to the Los Angeles Times, between April 2020 and July 2022, California lost over 500,000 residents.
The Times went on to say that unaffordable housing, long commute times, crowds, crime, and pollution in urban areas, which have also been plagued by homelessness, were the primary reasons for this exodus.
Unless California voters demand change, these plagues will only continue to get worse, especially if radical Democrats are calling the shots.
